How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

What an awesome video... Why so many pictures of twins, I wonder, however? Within each of those children, I see a little girl I know named Maddie staring back at me, and even though ALL children are special in their own way, autistic children seem more so - perhaps because they ARE autistic. There are other conditions, other diseases, other circumstances with situations just as grave if not more so, but when Maddie leaned in at my sister's wedding and gave me a kiss, I felt my heart melt. I really hope that viewing the video does cause a donation to be made somewhere, and I hope someday I will have the ready cash to make one myself. For now, though, I will have to be content with the "Shooting Stars" that are the people who care and teach and love those children with autism.... thank you for caring.

Now that I am an adult, I think back to my childhood and remember kids that were on the autism spectrum. I hope that I was understanding and kind to them but fear that I was not. I have been blessed with a child with Asperger Syndrome who has taught me how to be a different thinker. We have survived many social struggles together. I hope this video reaches a large audience and promotes the kind of awareness and understanding I wished I had growing up.
