How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

That was beautiful. It touched my whole family. My son Jarod is 8 years old and diagnosed with autism. He has communication difficulties and lack social interaction skills but he has come a long way. Keep up the good work.

What a beautiful thing to see that people care enough to create such a video. I just want to say thank you from both a mother with a child on the spectrum and a teacher of children on the spectrum.

Thank you! While our 12-year-old autistic grandson Avi has brought us the deepest joy and connection, and we still don't know how far he will go, I would gladly surrender this joy for his ability to do things he is becoming aware he wants to do in the world. If one could only cure the pain and keep the uniqueness, great- life doesn't seem to work that way, so we join you in wishing for a world without autism. Let us love our children, work with them, and keep searching for a cure or deeper knowledge of its causes and prevention-

FROM THE 2004 (YEAR MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED) TO NOW WE ARE AWAKENING THE WORLD HOPEFULLY AS RUDELY AS US THE MOMS WERE AWAKENED.

As the father of a fifteen year old son with ASD I worry about your message. He has come far from a severally affected child with ASD, to a young man that now is on the honor roll, has friends, and is very active in our community. We don't feel he needs a cure, or pity, or charity. He needs an appropriate education, supportive services, and federally funded programs to provide an opportunity for success. To "cure" his autism, which still challenges his daily, would be to take a piece of him away. What too would be the outcome? Also some compassion and empathy for individuals living with Autism would be more appropriate than trying to find a cure only. Providing avenues for support and community access. I'd also like to ask this has everyone promoting a cure had a child with ASD? If so has that child obtained appropriate early intervention, appropriate bio-medical services, appropriate educational services, and has the family been appropriately supported? If the answer is yes, than perhaps a cure would make sense...however if not, like is the case for most families, than that is your answer perhaps. But don't wait for your child's sake. We need to push for what our kids need. There are individuals living with autism that do not want to be cured. That needs to be respected and they need to be able to speak and be heard. Andy

I really love the video. My son Savion 5 is autistic. He spoke his first word 8 months ago. We have a long way to go, but, I believe we can fight this. Anyone that has a child with autism, please help your child. Spend as much time as possible teaching and learning. We love Savion, to see him laugh and play is a total joy to our day.

A very moving video and the song is both beautiful and thought-provoking. As a mother with a son on the Autistic spectrum, I, too, would like to see the world of autism either relegated to the history books or better bridged to our world so that true understanding and communication can take place with these precious children and adults.

What a beautiful video! My 5 year old son, Adam is autistic and nonverbal. But, with his early intervention preschool, he has come a very long way. He, too is very loving, smart and precious! We are truly blessed with our special children. Thanks to all that have helped spread the word.

Thanks for making a beautiful video to show what I feel everyday since becoming a mom. My three children are special in their own way. My 3 year old son has Autism. Because of all the help and awareness, I see a loving healthy boy who smiles and interacts more each day!

What a beautiful song and video...made me cry. Our only son Brandon is almost 3 and autistic. From the day our he was born we knew he was amazing and he brings such joy and happiness to everyone he comes in contact with. We hope that someone finds a cure so that when our 3 daughters decide to have children they are not afraid.

Thank you for such a beautiful video. The baby photos tell such a different story, not knowing what's ahead of you. To all the parents and grandparents who have children with ASD, be there voice, there biggest advocate. Raise funds,go on walks, let the world know that these are our children and we will not be silenced. I write this today for my son Christian, who is the best child that anyone can have. I AM HIS VOICE!!!!

Thank you! Even though we live with autism and it's challenges every day, we would not take our son any other way: he's perfect just the way he is in our eyes, heart and soul!
