How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

I am the mother of a 4yr old boy and a 2yr old girl who are both on the spectrum I also run our local autism parent support group. Public awareness is so important and I want to thank you for helping these kids. I am still shocked by how little the general public knows about autism. I look forward to the day when no parent, child, physician or anyone needs to be educated on how to cope with autism because it will be a thing of the past. Thanks for bringing that day a little closer!!!!

I am an education major with a special ed minor and have been learning a lot about Autism. I have learned so many different things about them and find it to be something so great that everyone should know about. I know how a lot of kids can be suffering from this, and this idea has really touched my heart, because if we find a way to cure it, I'll know we've made a point!

What a wonderful way to spread the word about autism. As a parent of an autistic child I know the roller coaster ride that it takes you on, the heartbreak, the small triumphs, the simplist tasks everyone takes for granted are the hardest to learn. May one day the key be found to unlock the door to this disorder.

The world needs to become more aware of autism...as it is an evergrowing developmental disablilty. I used to work with adults with autism and they were amazing. Though many of them did not communicate through words...their interactions and body language said so much. I can't imaginge having so many thoughts in the inside looking out and not being able to express them.

My first job was working as aide for a second grade boy with moderate autism and I couldn't believe how attached I became to him. Since then, I have been researching and learning more and more about autism in the classroom and how to work with these special children.

I have a 21 year old nephew with whom I had spent many years interacting/helping raise that was diagnosed with Aspergers Disease at age 10. The school systems just did not know what to do with him. The just push him through syndrome was horrendous. The treatment he recieved at the hands of uneducated educators was a crime. Educators and the public should be made more aware of this increasing disease. These children so desperately want to be a part of society.....they simply do not know how......ignoring them and pushing them through in an environment that they cannot adapt to is NOT THE ANSWER. I consider my nephew to be a very lucky young man in the aspect that he will never lose the innocence of childhood, but the world will never accept that innocence. He is highly intellegent in many avenues, but lacks the general knowledge to survive in this world alone. He has wonderful family support, but thousands of these children do not and they need support. I pray for the day this disease will be understood.
