How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

I will tell you why John, because the system always believes they know what is best for a child. I have a freind, she was a single mom raising her girl. she was not on wellfare, and she had a great job at home. Her daughter was well provided for. But because she showed up late for school a couple of times the school decided to step in and try to take my friends daughter from her. In fact they even asked the daughter, do you want a different family. If so just tell me, and we could get you a better family right now. Now you have to ask yourself, why in the heck would a system that is supposed to care about these kids, put a 9 year old girl through that?

candiace, wow this video is great, I dont know where to start but to tell you thank you you have given foster children a little help with letting them hear there side and how they feel. Every kid does need a home to call there own. Why hasn't anything been down yet? why do social workers keep takeing children away if they are better off at home?

hi. is this available on youtube? i'd like to put the actually video on my page (myspace) but no one ever clicks the link. i too was in foster home.. my dad was a molester and my mom was on drugs. our case was in the new back when i was small cause of the things that went on. my fathers family was in a cult and did ritual type things to us and we also had no money. i was in 3 different foster homes.. one of which i was violated by an older boy. ( i was only about 5). my foster dad was a drunk and i have a scar on my lip where he chased us w/ a knife. now, i'm not saying all homes are like that. we were in AL. i was adopted at 7 by a wonderful loving christian family. thank you for the wonderful video.

Brianna, thank you so much for opening up to me. I am sorry for your troubles right know but you will pull threw it. Once you are out of the system and stop haveing to do the "physicals" and everything. You move on. I have a WONDERFUL life! I am married with two children. I couldnt ask for more. If you have the will power to overcome what foster care does to you than you will be fine. Good luck. Here is my email incase you ever need to talk proudmomof2bm@yahoo.com
