How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

Audrey: I was so touched by this video. Ryan is one lucky boy to have such a wonderful mom who truly cares and has given everything in her power to help her son. It is so beautiful to see your outgoing little boy play with my son Cory. Cory looks forward to school every day and to seeing Ryan! You deserve so much credit for all that you have done for him and for all that you continue to do! Cory is so blessed to have such a wonderful friend, and we are also blessed to have met you and your family. Your dedication to both of your boys is so inspiring.

This video is amazing. My niece has autism and she is so special and important to me, this video reflects many feelings and thoughts I have everyday, althought I am not her parent. She never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for this incredible video!

Amazing, and sadly, very true. Unfortunately the world IS becomming a place where more and more people understand autism as more families are affected by it. Yes, we want a world minus autism. Thank you for a beautiful video about what all of us parents feel for our special needs children.

My son met a friend through mother's group just after he was born. They have remained close friends for nearly 7 years. My son is very bright but a bit "out there". His friend has austism. They seem to be happy together and my son often talks rubbish and the two of them just laugh and chase each other. As close as they are, and with the simple problems that I have with my child, I always realise how lucky I am that my child is not the one with autism. I hope that as they continue to grow and socialise with others that my child will continue to value his best friend Billy.

I understand. And so does my family. Two of our grandsons live with autism. My daughter made a video for this fundraiser also: "Our Boys, Our Purpose". I hope you will always have the energy to do what you need to for your children, and take time for yourself & the rest of your family. Thank you for helping to spread awareness...please keep it up. Because it is a spectrum neurobiological disorder, and there is such a variety of attributes a child can develop through autism, some people just don't understand the dynamics of how a family's life has to change to accommodate autism. Our grandson Braden said his FIRST word, Daddy, on Father's Day weekend. We live on the other side of the country. When we heard his precious voice speak a word, it made me cry. EARLY INTERVENTION is helping so much with his eye contact, ability to be touched & hugged, and with his ability to acknowledge his understanding of conversation, even if he cannot YET partake of it...one day he will, thanks to dedicated therapists & supportive parents & family. May God bless parents everyone, who raise their children the best they can! Please know this, Mrs. Mariani, there is a growing number of us out there who do understand your situation.... because we live in it, too.

Your video hit almost all of the high point of what it is like to have a child like this. Our son is now 13 years old and still developmentally delayed. For a long time we got the run around from doctors about his situation. We had to literally take charge and try to correct all the wrongs that had been done to him. He was normal until 21 months of age, and then the regressions began. After several years of reading, attending seminars, and researching we finally came to realize he had been poisoned by Thimerasol. For anyone out there that still doubts how dangerous Thimerasol is please read "Evidence of Harm" by David Kirby. If after reading that you still don't believe it get on google and type in "Deadly Immunity" read the article and that should pretty much make you realize what has happened here. Thimerasol is 49.6% ethyl mercury by weight. Mercury in ANY FORM is the second most toxic substance known to human beings on the face of this planet! This rating is from the periodic table of the elements, higher than lead, and second only to plutonium. Thimerasol is still used in flu vaccines, and many other things. Don't think that just because your doctors office tells you it has been taken out it has. There are still alot of vaccines out there with it in them. Read the labels and the inserts before you let them touch your kids. You can also use the website AChamp.org to let you state representatives know how you feel about this. This will only end when we all keep the pressure on the politicians, and the media to get the TRUTH out about this tragedy.

Ryan, I cried when I saw you in the video! You are so amazing and deserve a very very special mom like that> And you Mrs. Maraini have a very beautiful child. Just remember this Audrey, everything happens for a reason. God gave you Ryan because you deserve a special child like him. God Bless you, Matt, and especially Ryan. You are his mother, and because of that you are the luckiest woman you could possibly step foot on this Earth. Good Luck Ryan!!! Your Mommy Loves you!!!

What a great autism video. My 3 year old has just been given an "educational classification" of autism after being seen by various professionals. We still haven't been able to get into the neurologist. It really helps knowing there are other parents out there who feel the way we do.

I have a 8 yr old son just diagnosed w/ asperger's this year. It took 4 years for us to get the proper diagnosis. I see all the struggles my son is going through now and will have in the future. I will do everything I can to help him. It is not easy especially when other's don't understand what we and our children go through. The hurt and guilt you carry with you each day. God Bless you and your family, I hope more people understand a part of how autism affects our children & families.
