How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

It is so hard with our guys to watch them day by day go through the heartbreak that they go through. My heart breaks because my son has no one to play with, no friends, just me and his sister and his step dad. What kind of life is that. I hope there will be more understanding some day.

My son is almost 14 and was diagnosed less than 2 years ago with Asperger's. He has been the victim of bullying numerous times. He was originally diagnosed with ADHD in first grade, but that did not explain all his behaviors. In fifth grade, when he was sent to the office and found outside the office banging his head against the wall, crying, and saying he wished he was dead, I knew I needed to take him to counseling. His first counselor didn't take it very seriously because he didn't seem distraught (Aspie's don't show emotions in the same manner as we do) and, luckily, she went on maternity leave several months later. Through a stroke of luck, we ended up with a counselor specializing in Asperger's and Autism, who immediately recognized my son's "symptoms". I'm glad I finally know what's wrong, but am sad he was diagnosed so late. I constantly worry about him at school. Thanks for a video showing teenagers and their perception!

This was a very powerful video. It makes me sad to see how these boys were treated. Is there any hope for them?

Debra, my heart goes out to you. Your video moved me to tears. Your son Adam reminds me so much of my nephew, diagnosed with PDD-NOS. Seeing him sitting alone in a schoolyard full of children is familiar but the joy on his face when when he spots the person filming him...it's evident he is supported by a loving family. His prayer brought a smile to my face as well. He is truly a wonderful boy. You are a courageous woman. Your video is making a difference. God bless you and your family!

Debra. I think every family should have a child with autism. That is the only way to teach others to have a heart. I know that siblings of those w/autism are kinder as well.If everyone knew someone w/autism the world would be a better place.Right now it seems to be raining autisic children. In my eyes the world is fast becoming a better place.Peace to your heart & mind.

We as parents need to FIGHT for our childrens rights to go to school and NOT get picked on. My child is still in K-1 and there would be a HUGE lawsut if some of this stuff happend to my daughter. It is simply unexcusable. My daughter is sweet , smart, and a good child...Autistic children represent the best part of all good people..simple sweet and loving. The school districts have a lot to learn.

My son was followed out of the mall tonight and 2 teenagers followed him outside asking him for money and then they beat him up. I came out of the mall 5 minutes later. He didn't have his cell phone to call me. His face is a mess, but his mind is worse. He is mentally defeated at this point. I don't know how I'll lift his spirits again, but I'm going to try to get help from our family Doctor.

Wow!! Awesome video!!! Very brave mommy!!!! You're a very strong woman...I know it doesn't help very much to hear that, but keep doing what you're doing and you WILL make a difference.
My son is only 4 years old and he's already experienced kids at school laughing at him and telling him he's stupid. If this video could be seen in every school, we might just begin to make a diffence.

You video made me cry. I have an eight year old son with high functioning autism, who has already experienced bullying. Your video should be shown at schools. Some educators could learn from it. Your an inspiration...

What an incredible video. May you continue to educate todays population (especially children) on the challenges faced by children with autism and other disabilities. I know you will hear the music one day...

You have made a very touching video. The kind of world I want is a world with ZERO TOLERANCE for bullying. Thank you for sharing.

Oh Debra, My heart aches with you. I love how you spoke to the camera, I wish I could speak, I often hide the words, they are to hard to say and hear. I've had the worst time with my son and the school system this week. I fear he will have so many bad memories of his childhood because of public education.
You are so brave to speak on camera, I commend me for your fight against autism and I wish you and your family peace.

This is definitely a topic that must be brought into light more, I think this may be the only video on here about bullying! We all want a world with less bullying, and God bless you for making such a great video about it
