How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

Thanks for all the work you're doing for my cousins. I am so proud of you Aunt Amy, for making sure your state will have an Autism Speaks Walk for Autism Research in 2008. I can't wait to see you! Love, Mi-Ki

Absolutely Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your heart through talent and spreading awareness on such an evergrowing issue. If you ever decide to follow the celiac diet which some doctors prescribe for autistic children please reach out to me if you need any help or have questions. I have celiac disease and live with it every day. My cousin who is now in his 20's has autism and has thrived on the celiac diet. Best wishes.

What a beautiful video. I've been reading the comments below your video. I agree with all of them except Leo's. I wonder what his intended message was. Your video was very informative, professional, and touching. Autism Speaks may be the monetary beneficiary of this talented work, but all of us that have viewed it have benefitted by becoming more enlightened about Autism. Thank you for all the work you're doing to spread awareness, & raise money for research. God bless you!

A beautifully done piece that clearly and effectively communicated that autism has a face and it's our children and grandchildren. i had no idea as to the size and scope of the disease, nor did i know that there is little/no insurance coverage for those suffering this disease. Thank you for educating me and for the heart warming portrayl of the human impact autism has onit's victims and their families. Please give my best to Kip !! I will keep your beautiful children and family in my thoughts and prayers.

A very touching - and nicely made - video. Despite all the challenges that autism poses for a child and family (and, as the video points out, autism really affects all of us, in one way or another), it's inspiring to see so many smiles and so much love.

WOW!! That was so wonderful. My daughter Kirsten watched with me. She is 12 and was diagnosed at four. At that time she was nonverbal and not even potty trained. She lived just outside our world. Today she thriving and amazes me everyday. Her words after seeing this were, "that would be a cool song to sing at my school talent show next year. I wish we could play the video in the background." I thought, what a wonderful idea. If there is anyway to make that happen, let me know! Kirsten is bound and determined to help others with autism, especially those who haven't come as far as she has. We still have our daily issues, but she is learning to tackle the challenges. She sang in this year's talent show and I think using her gift of song to promote awareness would be awesome. Thanks again and please let me know if there is a way she could uses the video or sing the song...thanks for sharing. Linda

Your family is beautiful! My five-year-old son has autism. He has been such a blessing to our family. It is not an easy thing. We find ourselves walking the line between acceptance and seeking for a cure. Thanks for sharing your beautiful boys and your message.

Usuallly my son's photos are of the back of his head!! Thank you so much for posting this. I'm so glad to have this awareness out there.

Kip, thanks for sharing and the moving, poignant video. Building more awareness will benefit autistic patients in the long run as it has for other diseases. Working for a company that has 2 orphan drugs for previously untreatable neurological diseases, medical breakthroughs do happen and hope is eternal. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dom Ricci

Thank you for a beautiful video, and the awareness that it brings to so many who do not understand. As a mother of an autistic child, I believe that in our quest to seek a "cure", we often fail to recognize the gifts that sometimes accompany this neurological difference. Since my son's diagnosis, I have come to embrace my own autistic characteristics and have discovered the wonderful abilities that can come from minds that function differently.

Kip and Family, Thanks for sharing this with me. Kip and I chatted about your one grandson, but I think the fact that a second grandson is autistic is new information. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as you all continue with your journey. Hopefully medical science will provide a cure or at least an effective treatment in the near future. Best of luck, Steve
