How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

Thank you for your part in the cause. Thank you, because this week has been really bad, and you brought a much needed smile to my face.

When people say they want to "cure" autism, I think what many of them mean is: to "cure" those not able to communicate...., to "cure" acute sensory issues that make it difficult to function in typical societal conditions..., to "cure" the inability to read meaning in facial expressions..., etc. Your group has created a well-done video, expressing a genuine desire to spread awareness, & build tolerance. Now, if researchers could just "cure" my grandsons (who live with autism) inability to sleep through the night, my daughter could get some desperately needed rest!

Very touching w/good thoughts - autism is a tough subject right now with mainstream only starting to understand it and its effects on the families... Only the families know how we can help! Let's talk with them and reach out to those families affected by autism

Interesting the lyrics of the song include "Be careful what you wish for." I wish we could expend more energy teaching the world that autistic people are beautiful and perfect just the way they are...and with (a lot) more awareness, we can make life better for them without "curing" them just because they're different. Different isn't always bad. I'm all for research, but only to understand it better...and to find out how to treat the parts of my daughter's autism that make life the most difficult for her. I sincerely do not think she needs to be "cured."

A truly wonderful video with a powerful message. I've been viewing many great videos here and hope to add one of my own very soon that addresses one of the two other disorders on the "Autism Spectrum Disorder" -- Asperger's Syndrome (also known as high functioning autism). Kids with A.S. (like my son) look like typical kids but lack the "social awareness skills" needed to connect with their world. Though most have extremely high intelligence, they're often misdiagnosed for years (ADD, OCD, etc.) and labeled by teachers/others as "bad kids" or "defiant," when in reality their disorder affects social perceptions and nonverbal communication that includes language. Thank you, John, for giving these children and those like my son a voice!

Thank you for taking the time to make such a wonderful video. I am amazed how many people are touched by someone with autism. As a parent, I am very thankful for what my little guy has taught me. Which is more than I could ever teach him. We were given autism to learn, it may not be an easy lesson, but we are learning!
