How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com has no paid staff or personnel.

Augie, my wife Cathy has ALS. She was dx in july 2007 and is on deaths' door today may 10th 2008. I wanted you to know you were a very big influence for her. Her hopes and strength to fight this disease was from your book. She was a regular runner and loved to work out. She leaves behind a man who loves her more than life itself and 3 beautiful young children. I want to thank you for helping give her hope when there was and is none for this disease. Thanks Augie, you're an inspiration.

Amazing accomplishment. One of my best friends, John Austin, recently succumbed to ALS. Active and excellent internal medicine physician. Coincidentally, his nickname also Augie. Horrible disease. Would be great to find treatment or prevention. Keep up the great work and thanks for the insights.

What a video. Be prepared to cry. I am so thankful for all of the people who are out there searching for the end of this scary disease. My family has lost many to it. Hopefully with all of us pulling together we won't have to lose many more. Keep doing what your doing, you are a blessing from above!!!!!

This is an amazing clip! I've watched it so many times, and every time I watch it I cry. In December of 2004 a very close friend of my father passed away from this terrible disease. I am currently 15, but since the day I found out about his death, I have been working hard to raise money. So far I've raised about 30,000 dollars, and thank anyone who may be reading this who helped me. I have presented many different presentations, but am looking to start a huge presentation, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites I could get clips from, or any place I could download clips. If you know of some, please let me know. Thanks so much! Alyssa

My family has also suffered some pretty devestating blows from ALS, My grandfather, his brother, my mother and her brother and two of their cousins have all passed away within 13 months of their diagnosis. Now we are all left trying not to think of the fate that may away us. I pray that you are successful in your quest soon so that my kids don't have to lose anyone else they love to this terrible disease. God Bless you for giving people hope!

Prayers and science are working for you!! Thank you Augie!

Thanks to my wonderful son-in-law John. I feel your pain and your faith. May ALS be eradicated quickly.

I'm glad you are doing this. My family has been devastated by ALS and I am on the ticket with a 50/50 chance of contracting the disease. My mother and her brother, their father and his brother, all have passed away because of ALS. It is a heartbreaking illness, and I hope we find a cure soon. Please help us, Jesus.

I would like to say a huge 'Thank You!' to Augie Nieto for bringing using his notoriety and tireless efforts to the goal of cures for ALS and all Neuromuscular Diseases. You are truly an inspiration. Lynne was right, it is Lou Gehrig's disease, but it will be Augie's cure! Joel Kobersteen Communications Director Fairfax County Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics - IAFF Local 2068

My family has lost my grandmother, my aunt and my mother to this horrible disease. We now know that each of us children has a 50/50 chance in inheriting it. I pray a cure will be found so that my children will not have to see anyone else go through it. Thanks for everything you are doing and encourage people to view this video.

My Mother a most beautiful loving and spirited person was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS in March of 2006. I was blessed to have the opportunity to care for her throughout the course of the disease. She passed away 10 months from diagnosis. How much longer do we have to wait for a cure? Hopefully awaiting a change in Neuro Science! Cindy
