How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

Thank you to all involved in helping to fight against ALS. Thanks too for giving voice to all those who have lost the battle and those they've left behind. I look forward to the cure. In the meantime, my prayers will continue for those diagnosed, as well as their family and friends to find the strengh and courage to continue to live each day to the fullest.

Our brother-in-law, John, was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year. It's not been easy for him. I pray that he finds a way to LIVE with ALS...as well as finding HOPE through his faith in God. Let us all pray that John and others with ALS find "peace that passes all human understanding". God bless you Augie.

I was fortunate to see this performed live by John on the MDA Telethon and it was truly moving. To re-watch the beautiful faces of people living with ALS in this video only serves as a reminder how amazing Augie and the thousands of others living with this disease are. We will continue to fight until the fight is won.

What you are doing is one of the greatest things anyone has ever done for PALS(people living with ALS). You are helping in such a massive way. My fience's dad is living with ALS. I am proud of you. You and your team are awesome.

How amazing to see history being made right before our eyes! Thanks to John for starting at a grassroots level to get people involved. Thanks to Cindie and Bert Selva and Glen Tullman for their amazing generosity. Of course, much love to Augie and co. And a special thanks to all of those who watch the video and pass it on to family and friends. It's awesome to see how many people are affected of this 'orphan' disease. Let's spread the word and truly make sure we turn Hope in Joy.
