How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

To Dominik, Dawson, & Wyatt's parents: Thank you for sharing your experience with the world. May the understanding & acceptance needed to survive socially blossom rapidly in the very near future, for the sake of your children, my grandchildren, and all the children living with various disabilities/disorders. I think whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is helping to do just that. High-five to FiveforFighting. Autism Speaks is doing that, too. We are grateful for all the information about autism that Autism Speaks provides, & for their efforts to spread awareness & education, strengthen our presence on Capitol Hill with advocacy, & for their ability to increase the level of research committed to autism. Our daughter Amy & her husband Gary have two sons, both living with autism. She also posted a video here: "Our Boys, Our Purpose". I think it's on the first page (when you sort by popularity). May the Lord watch over your efforts, & bless you with the energy & rest you need to carry on with the greatest responsibility a person could have, that of being a caring, loving parent. God bless you all!

What a wonderful and TRUE video. My daughter, Jamie Hartman, sent this on to me. I also want a world where people see that these kids are kids! All children have differences and I treasure those in my granddaughter, Abby. She is very loving, kind, and smart. An autism diagnosis is a shock because parents do not expect their child to be different, but those differences are not the ones the public perceives. Different can also be good! You sound like a wonderful parent with a real challenge; I can tell that you meet it head-on. I have heard of your boys from Abby who loves them. It is important for videos like these to be out there for the purpose of awareness. Thank you.

Dear Danette, All of your boys are just so cute. My friend Melissa Clement sent the email to me and I am glad she did. I know many of people who have kids with Autism and it takes those special mom's and dad's like you bring out those smiling faces that your boys have. May each day bring you those smiles to your family even thru those struggling days. Your family is beautiful and I wish you and your family all the best. God Bless all of you!!
