How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com has no paid staff or personnel.

That is the coolest thing. Thank you to those who made it possible for that event. These kids love things like that and more events such as this are needed. You guys are awesome!

Some people are guided by God.
When I think that somebody can make such a difference, I am so touched and amazed by John's talent and blessed mind and heart, using his influence in a positive way helps this world a better place to be already.
I made the web site my home page in my desktop to remind me that even though I don't make a difference, He DOES, and for all those families that have an autistic child, I WILL KEEP THE MESSAGE ON.

It is always so beautiful- if you want to set a child's soul free, just add water. Thank you for sharing, and blessings to you and your family!

This was a really great day and a wonderful event and I thank you for posting this. But I am confused. Why does Autism Speaks receive donations from viewings when as far as I know they had no participation with the event. Autism Family Services of the Family Resource Network of NJ would surely benefit from these donations, especially when 96 cents of every dollar goes directly to services that benefit people with autism in NJ. Autism Speaks is a wonderful organization but lets give credit here where credit is deserved. I am sure they would agree.

I only wish I had been aware of this event. My David, 10 years old with autism would have loved to try surfing. I hope to participate next year. Thanks Zadroga Family!

Autism Family Services of Trenton, NJ really could use help bringing Surfer's Healing back next year. Please donate www.autismfamilyservicesnj.com and specify Surfer's Healing fund. Next year will be the 4th year and we really want to have 175 kids surf next year!
