How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

We need to keep the faith. I have many friends with autistic children who have made unbelieveable progress. Never underestimate your childs potential, regardless what their disability is.

Thank you for doing this. I have heard two stories just this last week in the news about how ignorant people are when it comes to dealing with autistic children - hopefully this project will educate people on autism. I have worked with autistic people and have seen the devestation that it can cause for families affected by it.

I have a cousin with a son that has autism. This family has made many sacrifices to assure their son has had the best medical care and education. I too would like to see this illness be a thing of the past.

AS a mother of a Autistic child, my heart reaches out the to communities to understand more about these children. Autistm is such a overwhelming thing to have. People must be more educated with how to accept and understand children, teens and adults with Autistm.

I pray every day for these precious gifts from God who are truly loved and loving but are given such a raw deal from a cold unwaivering corporate structure called "Insurance". I think we need to change the name. Bless your family and your journey.

I pray the State will see what this does to the children having to wait for years for treatment! I wonder if any of them have ever had an autistic child and how long they had to wait for their own intervention?? Probably not!! That's why legislation waits and waits until sadly it is too late!!! I PRAY FOR YOU ALL AND MAY GOD WALK WITH YOU AND GUIDE YOU THRU ALL OF THIS!! REMEMBER-- YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!

I am a proud parent of a 6 year old autistic daughter. With my persistency she was diagnosed by 18 months and was placed in early intervention at age 2. She went from loosing all language to now being quite the chatter box. She attends main stream kindergarten with an aide and will be fully mainstreamed next year by the time she completes first grade. Thanks to Valley Mountain Regional Center who helped us place her in the Therapeutic Pathways program at the Kendall School. God's miracle to our family and especially to our angel Abriel.

This just wrenches my heart. My 30 year old son has some autistic tendencies, due to having his skull crushed during a forced forceps delivery. If the doctor would have done a c-section, he would most likely not have the daily life threatening issues that he struggles with.
I am so glad that this child has loving, caring parents/family that are interested in getting the best for their child. I understand the heartache and disappointments, the fatigue of fighting and never really gathering full strength, only to have to pick it all up and start again tomorrow. And this beautiful child is so lucky to have both parents involved, my son has only his mama, as his "father" threw us all away. I am a single parent, and he has two devoted daughters, and a gramma - we love him so very much.
I commend your spirit and tenacity. May God's blessings be upon you and your beautiful child. You will be in my prayers and thoughts.

My brother is Autistic. This is breathtaking to see, and read of what everyone here thinks and feels about autistic kids/people. I love my brother with all of my heart, and he is 4 years younger than me. Turning 10 in a weeks time. I always will watch over him and love him unconditionally. And may god bless all of you who feel this way. This is very moving and touching.

I didn't realize that there are so many children affected with autism. I have diabetis and I'm fighting for the same issue-preventive measures rather than reactive ones. Your daughter has already been a blessing to me.
