How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team.

Early Intervention (EI), B-3 years and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), 3-5 years services are available and free to all families who have a child with special needs. These services are federally and stated mandated through IDEIA 2004. Please share with parents that they should contact their state department or local school district to inquire and have children evaluated and services provided for those in need.
Great video....there is hope and immediate help available through EI/ECSE services.
Thanks,
Michael Mahoney

Every child on this earth deserves a chance to have a good life. Many diseases have been cured from research, we need to put 100% behind these children, both physically, mentally and financially. Our prayers with the children who suffer as well as my great nephew.

Raising awareness about autism!
My name is Reena Soni, I am a third year BSC Psychology student at the University of East London. I am looking for people who have children with autism to complete an online questionnaire for my final year project (the link is below).
If you know anyone, could you please take a moment to forward this email to your friends and family I would be really grateful if you would consider taking part in my study.
This study aims to investigate the perception of parents of children with autism using applied behaviour analysis (ABA) compared to parents not using applied behaviour analysis.
If you would like to take part please click on the link below.

Autism is a pervasive developmental disorder that needs to be recognized at an early age. Early diagnosis and intervention is the key. I work with many levels of students with Autism. I am so proud of all the parents that act as their child's advocate. No one can best understand what your child is going through. Please continue to push for early diagnosis and intervention. The good news is I have seen so many children come so far in their educational history.

i fully agree, but when you have 2 autistic children and NO help, also abroad, husband working a 7-7 job to make sure all bills are paid and that both children get the BEST possible therapy, the option to give them the ABA therapy on a 1 ON 1 intervention which my sister has done,
AND YES ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!!
is just not an option if you have two autistic children and holding on to dear old PATIENCE !?!?
The therapists just cant cope or handle her little boy..... schools dont want to accept him, friends are no longer wanting your little brats over to come and play with their precious little darlings....... so when she said she cannot do the 1 on 1 therapy i UNDERSTOOD......

Not winning the lottery is not unfair. Fair is everybody getting what they NEED.

You don't have to wait for insurance companies to cover basic autism therapy. It is totally possible for parents to train up to do ABA therapy themselves - and to get college students to assist them as a practicum or for a minimum wage. What's vital is time on task, one-on-one intervention and lots of patience. ABA can be done by parents - it is not rocket science!! I know because my husband and I personally worked with our autistic daughter (diagnosed at 3, silent until almost 5) while living abroad with no support from insurance. Now 9, she not only speaks but is mainstreamed in a typical classroom with minimal support. Parents, you have the power - think out of the box and make it work. Don't wait for governments legislation - take the lead, do whatever you can yourself now. I promise you it will make more of a difference to work directly with your child than to put get distracted with advocacy. Hang in there. I wish you well!

What you said is really ridiculous. ANY science endeavor needs FUNDING. So yes, money DOES help. But negative people who do not know what they are talking about, people like you, do not help anything. Why would you even bother making a comment?
I have been working for a school district with special needs children for 2 years now. My heart goes out to EVERY parent helping their child struggle with autism.
