How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com has no paid staff or personnel.

I am glad you have found a foundation to help. I have a nephew with autism, so I know the challenges you face. My own son is now 27, he does not have autism, but symptoms of 5 different disabilities, the struggles you will face, be it with schools or the public that does not understand, will be well worth the smiles and unconditional love you will receive. I have been told that God gives these children only to the people he knows will look beyond what most people only see, so I know you must be some wonderful parents!!! Bless you and your daughter!

I have a son who has a mild to moderate form of Autism. It's nice to see athletes, musicians rallying and hoping to make a change in this disorder.

I listen over and over to the song on these video clips and am always moved. My son was diagnosed at 3 years old (although we saw signs by 2 yrs). Our coverage in Canada appears much less than yours in the States for ABA/IBI (except in Alberta). As a parent, I became proactive, informed and an advocate for him. From the time my son was diagnosed (he is now 11), I have not stop reading. I did not wait for others to help, I started a GF/CF diet, antifungal tx, B12 inj, high dose vitamins and took a 3 day workshop on setting up my own ABA program at home. He said 'mommy' at almost 4. Now I can't get him to stop talking. I will never stop trying new ideas on him. I love that he is in our world and sharing our happiness and hope. Our path in life has taken another trail.

I have a cousin who's son has autism and have a friend that has a grandson with autism. Always remember autism is not due to a drug deficincey, it is because the body is needing something to function well. Please be faithful to take a look at "intelligent nutritional supplementation." So often when we give our bodies what they want they do the job of functioning the way they should. My heart goes out to all who are affected with this disease . I pray the Lord gives you strength and faith for breakthrough.

I too have an autistic child, he was 7 years old before I found a doctor who would test him to see what was different about him... Now it is an endless struggle to keep him going.... Very frustrating that the medical world has doctors who don't care about their patients...

my little boy is napping now. this morning he had 4 hrs of ABA therapy..he is 2.5 and like so many was fine unitl the vaccinations stole his brain. The pediatrican lied...told me there was no more thymerizol..etc so we vaccinated him. When we went to the pediatrician with the diagnosis all he could say to us was "just support eachother, 85% of marriages with kids with Autism end in divorce"..."now, time for his Hep A booster"!Yeah, thanks asshole!Needless to say we left, w/o the booster, and we are not divorcing. We hold it together, one day at a time. I am grateful to my husband, he is my rock. and that sleepy little boy in the next room is my world.

I think what Five for Fighting is doing a wonderful thing. Now, we must see to it that our government lets all medical insurance companies know that they can not pick and choose what they will cover. They should be made to cover everything about the human body or stay out of health insurance.

Please pass this on every child needs someone to show that they care about others. God cares for us all

I go to this site every day and play this song over and over...this is the right thing to do to help in such a small way...these kids need our help.

This was a very moving video. My neigbor's son has autism and last Summer she spent endless hours working an an insurance appeal based on a denial for reimbursement for treatment relative to his autism. I sincerely hope situation improves and that children and parents are given the support they need.
