How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com has no paid staff or personnel.

Tears just flowed down my face as i saw this. I have two children with forms of austism. It breaks my heart everyday, however I do everything and anything to help them. Be there best advocate. Never give up! We need to find a cure. More individuals need to get involved. God Bless your child and may God find a cure for all of our precious children soon.....

Actually autism has nothing to with immunizations. Please see http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,202445,00.html for more details. You all are being ignorant and looking for a scapegoat.

Autism is most definitely caused by immunizations. I am blessed that my daughter made it through her immunizations. As an adult I received vaccinations for college and they affected me severely. I can only imagine how it affects the poor children that can't tell us what they are feeling. A Gluten free diet has been shown to work. I have a relative who is a teacher for children with autism and she has seen great improvement in children on a gluten free diet. My prayers to all the families experiencing this horrific disability.

Has anyone ever thoght that the rise in ASD cases are because of the increase in knowledge. Years ago there was not as much knowledge of ASD so there were fewer diagnoses. Yes, there are very many shots that our children recieve, and it looks that the children are diagnosed with ASD after they are recieved, but when children are 18 months to 2 years of age this is when they would normally starting to be independent and vocal.that could be why we don't notice until this time.

I work with students daily who have autism. They are some of the brightest and most wonderful people with which I work. People need to be seen for who they are and what they can do, not their disabilities.

It is my understanding that autism is no more prevalent now than it was 20 years ago...the difference is that now we know what it is. We have a name for it; we can identify it. And I don't believe that there will ever be a cure, because nobody knows the cause. In the meantime therapies such as behavior therapy and music therapy (among others), can be integrated into their lives to help them function to the best of their ability.

It's a very touching video......but Autism/PDD can't be cured because it's not a disease! It's a disorder, I have a wonderful 19 year old son who is autistic/PDD he is the way he is, he has a full and happy life, if I could "cure" him and make him "normal" I'd do it in a heartbeat for him, but I accept him just as he is and I believe God trusted me enough to let me be his mom.

I'm not certain forcing insurance companies to pay for treatment is the answer. Finding the cause and prevention may be much more important in the long run.

Thank you Gloria. I would love to view the video but our email here at work will not allow the right type of flash to make that possible. Thanks for thinking of me. Loren has done a great job and so did you in helping him to accomplish so much. Francene

In the 1980's, we gave kids 8-10 shots before they were five, and we had no autism epidemic (or disease epidemics.)
Now we give our babies 36 shots, most of these before age 2, and autism is 1 in 150. It has been quoted as high as 1 in 90 in boys.
The more shots we add on to the schedule, the more damage we're seeing. And yet the CDC remains in denial about the connection. How many more children need to be damaged before the CDC admits what's really going on?

I have a wonderful 16 year old nephew with PDD (on the Autism Spectrum), he is a blessing with his bright smile and fun loving ways. I see my sister struggle everyday to afford the cost of medicine, treatment etc. It is a shame that in the United States there is not more help for these children. Thanks to the creator of this video it is moving and real. May God Bless all the Children!

Deb- many people believe immunizations to be the culprit. Yet, the vaccination companies refuse to do studies. It's very sad!!!
