How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

Hey there. I'm a 14-year old boy living in South Florida. And I think there's one thing we have in common. We both have an autistic person in our lives. I know exactly how you feel. My 17-year old brother was diagnosed with autism at age 2, and funding is hard to get for him. I'll be praying for you, that Claudia will have funding for immediate intervention as soon as possible. God Bless, =)

I have a three yr old grand nephew who was diagnosed with Autism a year ago and have seen significant improvement with the persistant care and teaching my neice provides for her son. I work with a 16 yr old Autistic student daily that does not communicate. God has blessed me with these children in my life, but I pray for a cure or reason for those who are not as blessed with funding for care and opportunity for learning. Please offer a helping hand to the parents of these very special angels.

i applaud the parents who so staunchly plow on in the muck of "put on the back burner" bureaucratic b/s and fight for the needs of their children..I am the proud aunt of a Downs niece, and with much work and love from family, parents, teachers she has come a long way..It is indeed a hard fight but with love, understanding and perseverence, the battle can be won..So come on all you who have children with no disabilities, fight the fight with those of us who do..Remember>>>UNITED WE STAND !!!!! Hugs to those who push on daily and fight the good fight..:)

Beautiful! I fought the same battle... I'm still fighting. Don't quit, follow your heart, take control. If you wait for insurance, schools, state or county agencies- it may be too late. You only get one shot at "early intervention," make it count! Good luck, she's worth the price.

I am blessed to have "healthy" children. Bless the children and those wonderful parents who love them unconditionally. They are all the real heroes who battle everyday.

I have a cousin who is autistic and with the help of school and the special teachers he seems to be improving slowly which is amazing and it gives us all hope.

My son is autistic and we are fighting here in Illinios to get a bill passed requiring Insurance Carriers to provide coverage for the treatment of Autism. This video has been very inspirational to me. Our bill is currently in the Illinios Senate. SB1900, needs to be voted through to the house. If you live in Illinios call your Senator and ask them to vote yes on SB1900.

I'm here to tell you there is hope! I have 2 sons that are Autistic and they are 24 and 25 years old. I was widowed when they were very small and spent years fighting with doctors and therapists over their diagnosis of retardation and A.D.D. I turned to holistic methods but kept the traditional doctors informed. Reiki healing music and Tibetan chimes music calmed them. It has been a long road, but today they are both verbal and relatively self sufficient. My heart goes out to all the parents and children, just remember= IT'S ALL WORTH IT!

Remember our children were never asked to be born this way. If we do not advicate for them no one will. There is hope, never give up on them.

Excellent job on this webpage!!!
I commend you on your good work efforts to raise the Autism issue and needs.
I live in Canada and have a 5 year son with autism. The challenge here are just as great but the awareness and donations less.
I tried to raise awareness with my project
www.rideupforautism.ca and only got local success, due to lack of America media interest - they have the biggest inpact here as seen by how I got your webpage.
Best of luck on your project

Hey, my name is Casey and I am 14. I live in Seattle, Washington. A cousin of mine who lives in Denver, Colorado has autism. His family has a hard time and he has had a hard time in school. I heard from his mom that he used to get picked on a lot. But now he is doing a lot better and he is taller than me but we're the same age. He's pretty cool. I am so proud for him to be my cousin and everybody treats him the same as me. I used to be talled than all my boy cousins and now he's taller than ME! God Bless you.
