How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

I am sending this to Claudia's parents and family. Have you ever seen the movie Facing the Giants? This movie is not about autism, however, it is about giants that we have in our life. Autism to Claudia and her family can be a giant that they are facing. There is nothing that is too hard for Jesus!(If you really believe this) This is not about a religious matter but of Faith. I will stand in intercession for you and all other families affected with this disease. Jesus said in His word, "that by His stripes we were healed". So, take this healing and claim it for your daughter. Believe God for the impossible. I am excited for the turn around you will see in your daughter and others. You are blessed of God. Love sis Cathy

We have a 13 year old grandson who is autistic. Fortunately, thanks to our wonderful daughter-in-law, it was diagnosed very early and he is high functioning, but will always have challenges. Please help! Ed & Sally Young

Last week I was watching the evening news and they did a story about how much the Clinton and Obama campaign committees raised so much millions of dollars (I believe Obama's was $50 million and Clinton's was a less) in three months' time. I don't know how McCain and Huckabee faired. How can private Americans and Corporate America put campaing spending above such pressing needs that could actually help people. There are many worthy charities out there who could take that money and put it to better use. I would respect any candidate and would probably vote for them if they tooke their money and donated it to all these worthy causes. THINK ABOUT IT!

My heart gpes out to those of you who get little or no treatment for your precious children. I am not in USA and as the foundation for this website is, I am assuming all live in USA. Yes there is much that can be done to help these childen, Blaming injections or vaccinations is not fair millions get these same treatments everyday and do not become Autistic it is something in the chemical make up in their own body you have a right to refuse to have these given to your child. when you vote next be sure it is for someone who knows health and welfare of ALL comes first, giving millions away is wonderful if there is nothing at home that needs fixing, Much like Celebrities who build homes for poor in other countries how many Nillions of dollars have these countries received from all over the world. Charity should start at home, not just Autistic child but withh all those with special needs.

I have a nephew with Autism. Brian is now 25 years old. Brian has no speach and needs help with alot. My sister has him at home, but for 25 years has not been able to help him, because when Brian was young, there wasn't much known about Autism. He was placed in schools for the deaf, schools for the mentally retarded. He never received the therapy that he needed. It was not until he was about 13 years old that my sister finally found an appropriate school with the appropriate therapy available. For Brian it seems to have been too late. Early detection and public awareness is key.

Children with autism are being diagnosed in record numbers. Vaccination of children is linked to autism. Companies that manufacture vaccinations should also be mandated to financially assist families who have children with the permanent health deficiencies and diseases that result from vaccination, autism being one of those. The mainstream media needs to stop the cover up between autism and vaccination, and between a host of other realed illnesses and diseases and vaccination. Educate yourself.... Knowledge is power!

My daughter has identical twin boys now 14yrs old, with autism. One severe has (CP), is non verbal and one high functioning. Diagnoised at almost 5yrs old. have been on a very strict GFCF diet plus other sensitivites determined by Great Plains Labs. Gastro-intestinal issues are big. The children have had good success with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We have seen results with both of the children, they have had many intervention therapys but I'm the grandmother and don't know everything about the therapys. I am here to love and support these beautiful fun and sometimes funny, wonderful grandchildren. When the severe one comes over and kisses me on top of the head when I'm just sitting in a chair. I know he knows me and loves me.

my 7 years old daughter is autistic just like the thousands of other kids. Her various tests are very expensive and not affordable. We are struggling, but we are getting a lot of help from ABA. Im very thankful to those people who really take care of my child. Im praying for all of the autistic kids in the world and hope that they find out a cure very soon. Amen

If you believe that you have child with autism, have the child tested for Celiac Disease. There is some evidence that there is a connection between the two conditions.

Autism has so many faces today. My son is 7 and high functioning but still autistic. He started school at the age of 3 and I thank God for our Area Education Agency because the people there have been wonderful and have made such a difference in our lives. May God watch over you and help to keep you strong in the fight.

Austism was introduced to us in detail when someone we love as much as life itself was diagnosed with it. Help and be educated now before you learn as I do through experience and know someone who becomes one more statistic.

I am a Preschool Intervention Teacher and know how important it is to fight for Autism awareness. Because of this importance, I have posted your website on the discussion board at the University where I attend graduate school. This discussion board has hundreds of students (preservice and classroom teachers) all who have had some sort of contact with a child with Autism. It is my hope that as a university, we can help you raise that money for the fight!
