How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.
whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

I am a care giver of the developmentally handicappedfrom the ages of 17 and up. It just breaks my heart to actually witness the struggles that they are faced with on a daily basis. Autism is one of them. I wish you the best of everything for your lovely child. May God bless her with the loving care that she needs and deserves... In fact, may God bless all of the little children of the world!

My husband has a 28 year old daughter who has several handicaps, autism being one of them. It's very frustrating to be told that this treatment is not covered, but this one is, at a discount...I agree that if tummy tucks & butt lifts can be covered, why can't a necesary treatment to help in the treatment of autism be?? The only time a law gets passed for insurance companies to cover a particular treatment, is if the politican's child is suffering from that condition... maybe my husband should run for office?!

I have a grandson who is a high functional autistic and will graduate from high school in May. I wish he could have been diagnosed earlier and had the early intervention. His parents were told let's wait and see.

Having adopted a normal healthy baby 18 years ago, then ecountering the world of autism with him was a journey unable to be put into words. With massive research and one-on-one work, his teachers & I were able to bring him into our world, then help him with ways to cope and even embrace parts of "our" world. He's amazing. I'm ever so appreciative of the awareness you are sharing.

AS the mother of a 23 year old autistic child that had been misdiagosed for many years, I thnak you for bringing this epidemic to the forefront of media attention.
Unfortunately back in the early 80's PDD was under treated and that "wait and see " attitude, took my son from me. Leaving behind a shell of what could have been . An only child that had every advantge to become someone. All thsi due to lack of knowledge.
Even today almost 17 years since someone figured out what was wrong, we still fight, the system, insurance companies and even the law that stands between my sons expected lifestyle and reality.
Was it the MMR vaccine? An underlying defect? A fluke?
Whatever the case we missed the window to possibilities back in the 80's that now EVERY child & parent should have access to.
It is too late for my child but not too late for today's children, MAKE YOU VOICE STRONG FOR THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE THE KNOWLEDGE.
Support these childern and their parents, it is such a long road .
Insurance companies will pay for bariatric surgery and tummy tucks.... why do they deny and drag their heels on this? They condem our children to a life of would have and should have. SPEAK UP!

I've worked with an autism child; if there is
anything they can do to help these children, let's make it available to all ASAP.

As a spsecial education teacher, I couldn't agree more that something has to be done NOW, not two years from now, not two months from now but NOW!!!! The legislature spends multimillions of dollars on nonsense. Let's push for them to spend our tax dollars on our children!

Thank you for speaking for Autism. My 12 y/o grandson has Autism. His Pediatrician took the "wait and see" approach. So much crucial time was lost! He was finally diagnosed in first grade, thanks to the School District. Parents, if you suspect Autism, get your child diagnosed and FIGHT for services.
