How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com has no paid staff or personnel.

I think it is insensitive of "Desiree" to say that Jesus is the cure for autism...If this family sits and waits for Jesus to cure this beautiful little angel, she will slip deeper and deeper into this disease! I hope with all my heart there is some change forced on the insurance companies that deny these therapy benefits! I don't think it's out of line to ask for prayers that's for sure!

YES, There IS a Cure for Autisim... His Name Is Jesus. " That evening after sunset the people brought to JESUS ALL THE SICK and demon possessed. the whole town gathered at the door, and JESUS healed many who had various diseases. " Mark 1:32-34 NIV

I work with autistic children and I know and understand what these parents are going through. There needs to be more research and better insurance to meet the needs of these children.

I had no idea that this was so severe. The stats of 1 out of 150 is so hard to comprehend. When did this all start and where have I been! I'm in the great grandparent stage of my life and I will be praying for a cure for this and for all family members to have the patience and love that is needed to care for these little darlings. My check is in the mail.

Your video is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful child with us. I teach elementary school and have had many autistic children in my classes. They have been a blessing to me and the other students in so many ways and I am thankful for what all those children have taught me.

This video is so amazing and so well done. My son is nearly 3 and was recently diagnosed as severely Autistic. Like you, I pray for the day when no parent has to hear those words or fight the system to get their child the help they so desperately need (but can't afford--like us). May this video reach the people who hold the power to change legislation and get our children the help they deserve!!!

My health class students are required to make a research paper and presentation for their final grade this quarter. Aspergers and autism were both topics chosen. I'm hoping through this assignment the eyes of my children will be open. I will make sure to share this video clip with them and hopefully they can forward it on. This is a fantastic program, and I would love to see more of them. Thank you so much.

My six year old was just diagnosis with Aspergers two weeks ago. Was sent to Judevine and child psychiatrist. Call to make the appt. Judevine has a 6-8 month waiting period, maybe more and the child psychiatrist will not be able to see her until the end of March and will be making her go back thru all the testing again. I have an official document showing her testing results. Then come to find out we probably will not get much therapy due to insurance issues. Thank you so much for this video awareness. I too do not feel so alone in all of this frustration. I will be passing this link on for other to see.

I am a mother of a 5 yo boy with autism. He too was silent. Only through the grace of God is he where he is today...verbal, social, and developementaly on track. We are blessed to have had EI and pre school. But it only works if you work it 24/7 at home. Speech therapy is only talking to your child, reading to your child, and naming Everything for your child. Work hard and pray hard and you will be rewarded. Only today I got an email telling about congress signing a bill to make insurances pay for all areas of autism. And just recentily they found genetic links. God Bless

I work with children with autism every day of my life and could never imagine choosing another path. These children are a blessing and a gift to everyone whose lives they touch. I have never been more challenged and never felt more rewarded by anything in life. These children and their families have an unparalleled strength. They are some of the most wonderful people I have crossed paths with. I am a better person having known each and every one of them.

I have a 6 year old son who was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (an Autism Spectrum Disorder) when he was 3 1/2. Thank you for this beautiful video! May the time come soon when people realize and understand the needs of our remarkable and loving children.

My brother has an autistic daughter and she is very special. During our last visit to Disneyland, we were provided a special pass that allowed us to go first in line at every ride. This really helped to avoid frustration she would experience by not understanding about waiting in line and enhanced her joy in experiencing the Disney experience. May God Bless the Disney company for taking the extra step in bringing some joy to these special kids!
