How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

What a sweet song and a beautiful video. I am brought to tears every time I watch it. Knowing too many families affected by their children's autistic disorder, all I can do is advocate for a health care system for everyone. In the meantime, no child should be left behind in a tangle of political and legal termoil. The sooner the diagnosis & treatment the better; God help us save the children! Every child deserves an education suited to his needs, access to health care and special treatment when required.

Thanks for sharing the video. My daughter is 3 1/2 and dx as severely autistic at 2 y 9mths (I suspected something wrong with her when she was 18 mths old but we had to wait until she was 2 and wait for the hospital to call and after three appointments (including hearing test) the diagnosed was made. We are in New Zealand and early intervention and teacher aide are helping my daughter but I wish they diagnosed my daughter earlier. The SCD diet changed my daughter in one day that she could response when I called her name, but she still has long way to go sometimes I feel so scared that it will be too late to help her as she grows so fast and time flies that I can't remember what day or date. Any government in any country should pay attention to this epidemic and should try to find solutions to stop this disaster from happening. It is so exhausting for us the families with children in this spectrum let alone the financial burden.

I just sent off an email to all 3 representatives whose emails you listed. I've watched this video almost every day for the last couple of months. I'm stunned and can't ignore the enormous statistics of the 1 in 150 diagnosis of children with autism. My heart aches for these children and their families. But I feel hopeful that there is help available. I will be a crusader...

Loved the music and pictures. How unfair to all of these families trying their best, to do their best, for these unfortunate children. Give them the help they need!

3/2/08 WE NEED YOUR HELP...CLAUDIA AND THE CHILDREN OF WISCONSIN NEED YOU TO ACT NOW!!!!!!! As you know, we are quite active in pushing to see legislation passed in Wisconsin that would mandate insurance companies to cover treatment and therapies for Autism. Wisconsin does have a state funded program to provide funding, but has over 350 children sitting on the waiting list for services...it will be about 2 years for all of those children who need coverage today. Our last update indicates that Claudia is #357 on the list. In the meantime we are paying out of pocket for ABA therapy for her ($20K for less than 20 hrs) Most families cannot do this for their kids (frankly I don't know how long we can) and their conditions only worsen without intervention. Just this past Tuesday Senate Bill 178 was passed thru the Senate with overwhelming support, but now it must go thru the Assembly which is Republican dominated and resistant. In fact they may not even allow it to come up for vote. We encourage anyone willing to help in this mission to please contact these State Representative and speak up on behalf of these children and tell them to vote yes on Assembly Bill 417. Here is a link to all Assembly Representatives http://www.legis.wisconsin.gov/w3asp/contact/legislatorslist.aspx?house=assembly Specifically I will list the email addresses of the Representatives who have the power to bring this bill up for vote. Rep.huebsch@legis.wisconsin.gov,Rep.gottlieb@legis.wisconsin.gov, and Rep.fitzgerald@legis.wisconsin.gov PLEASE ACT NOW-TIME IS RUNNING OUT AND THEIR SESSION ENDS IN A LITTLE OVER A WEEK!!! SPEAK UP FOR THESE CHILDREN WHO HAVE NO VOICE!!! THANK YOU!!! CHARLOTTE BOLLE- CLAUDIA'S MOM posted by Charlotte and Tony Bolle

My godson is autistic. What a wonderful ten year old he is that has taught me much. With all the love, patience & devotion his parents & sister have shown him he has made remarkable strides. He has been very lucky to go to a school were he gets the extra attention, help & dedication from great staff. He is a blessing, a real joy to us all to have come to know & love him...love Debi

My mother works with autistic children at her school and my best friends have a son named Gabe that has autism. The song is as beautiful as what you are doing to shine a light on this condition.

I work with autistic children in the school setting and for the city of Tucson in after school programs that are for kids with these kinds of developmental disabilities. I have found in working with the kids and their parents - the need for validation, that they are doing what they can. I have learned patience I never thought I had. I have seen these children make gains and develop - but with consistent support in all settings. Parents can not do this alone. The kids can not do this alone. Thanks for an opportunity to show my support in other ways for the fight against Autism.

I saw you fighting for Autism Rights in Madison, Wisconsin during the last week in February. Your son was on camera, you and your daughter were also. Her picture was held over the railing in several places. I hope it helped to bring to the front, the fight for the rights needed to put medical insurance coverage on children with autism.

If I were GOD I would heal every precious child, but I'm not - so I will help every other way I can starting with understanding, love, and kindness. May GOD bless each and every one, and may HE provoke our hearts to show love and compassion to each and every child we come accross every day that has Autism, but not to forget the parents of these precious children who bear the daily burdens of care. _Dayeton
