How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

Very moving. But it's NEVER to late to provide quality intensive support. It DOES make a difference. Keep pushing the research for treatement and cure. We are making inroads and will get there if we just don't quit.

I am a physical therapist and have been searching for a group who is willing to look at impact of the Back to Sleep program. I suspect that parents are not placing babies on the tummy to play when awake and supervised early, and frequently as soon as home. I also suspect the lack of tummy time is greatly impacting the developmental progress of babies and impacting the cognitive as well as relating aspects of children. I have seen how learning to tolerate tummy play at any age can decrease the symptoms of Autism. I have published research on the importance of tummy time. Judy Jennings.

I am a pastor and our church is starting a worship program for families with children with autism and special needs. I was wondering if there is any way that I can get a copy of this video to show in church to raise awareness about what we are doing. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

This is a beautiful video, the song and the pictures are amazing. Please remember that your local school district will have some sort of program to assist. I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher, and we have a lot of children in our program with autism, among many other diagnosis. Anyone who has any concerns about your child's development, please contact your local school district. There will be an infant/toddler program (for birth to age 3) and from 3-5 an early childhood program. There could also be an autism support group in your area.

Our son Brody has Fragile X syndrome and it is the leading known cause of autism. He just recieved a service dog from www.wilderwood.org and we couldn't be happier. It has changed his and our lives. Please call me if you are interested and I will tell you more.931.580.1226 Is teis helping you with your daughter? They paid for every therapy until Brody was 3 and now the age is 4.

i dont understand why people think they can "cure" autism. its almost like me saying we need to cure people of their blond hair. we are born a certain way and we need to accept the fact that we cannot change this. autism is not a disease. i wouldnt wish autism on anyone and i feel for those who have it. all we can to do is support.

I have a 17 year old son that has never been diagnosed with autism, however we feel quite certain that is what he has. He is nonverbal, but does "babble". He says mama and papa, beyond that it is jibberish. We have been through many tests for many diseases, and syndromes to no avail. Our doctor just will not label his as autistic. Some days are quite challenging, but the smiles, hugs, and kisses make those challenging times worth every minute. This video is very awesome, I sincerely hope it helps to raise the needed funds to keep the research going.

I cried when I saw this video. So true that intensive therapies are needed when the dx is first given so that the child can live a full and active life.

I don't have children and never will, unless we adopt one. I got this email from my friend and...after I watched it...I wanted to help. This is message to parents, who have children with autism, don't give up, do whatever you can, cause it's your child, and no matter what kind of trouble he or she is in, it'l a whole lot better to have a child and help, than not to have one at all. God bless you.

This was very touching. My little boy (Ashton) has autism..he is 4 years old and has been diagnosed since he was 15 months old becuase of his delays....we have done everything you can imagine...he hasn't said one word till about 6 months ago...we were told it may never happen..don't give up..we didn't...I took whatever I could learn and worked with him...he is now labeling everything...putting 2 words together..still having problems with his comprehension, answering questions, but listens to everything...it will happen pray and accept what your child with autism has and it will happen..once you learn to deal with it..you will notice everything will get better.....thanks for listening and God Bless You

I have been raising my autistic nephew since he was 6 and he is 16 now. He too is largely nonverbal with major developmental delays. He has twice been put on waiting lists, one with a 7 year wait, and the current list he is on has run out of money and doesn't expect to offer anyservices anytime in the near future. With a lot of work and persistence and the support of family and friends, while still largely nonverbal he can make his needs known, ask for what he wants, and point out things in the enviorment. Reading is coming slowly, he does the vacuuming, cleans his bathroom, and is responsible for the after dinner clean up. I decided to assume he could learn until he proved to me he couldn't and so far he hasn't proved to me he couldn't! It has been an uphill battle along many fronts, but it has been worth it. He and I recently moved with just he and I loading up the rental truck. We have to keep believing in our kids and remember that even when it appears that nothing is getting through to them our love nad care for them is registering. Rest if you must, but don't quit!

What a beautiful video. While I don't have a child with an Autism dx, we went throught the testing, only to find that he has all they "signs and symptoms" without the "core" problem of autism. I feel your pain...if only just a small piece of it. Thank you for sharing.

This was extremely touching. My nephew and one of my best friend's sons were diagnosed with autism and i understand what a struggle it is and my heart goes out to everyone who has a child who has been diagnosed with autism. i hope and pray that our voices will be heard and that our government will step up and take care of our children and also start holding the insurance companies accountable.

My nephew has autism and my heart goes out to all of the children that has this disorder. Since our goverment does not do enough for it's own children it's refreshing to see five for fighting helping this cause. God Bless
