How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

I think that the saddest thing of all is that the public is so unaware of the vaccine link and the ways that you can combat this issue after the fact. Contact a Maximized Living Doctor and the possibilies are endless, MaximizedLiving.com The benefits for these children come with chiropractic care and detoxing their beautiful bodies of the toxins that are in the vaccines that all of these children have recieved. Thank you and God Bless!!!

It is because of stories like this and organizations like AutismSpeaks that funding for research continues. Keep sharing your stories and keep the pressure on pharmaceutical companies to continue to fund research initiatives to find a cure.

I am currently going to school now, working toward getting a certification In ABA. I understand your frustrations. This is a beautiful video and I have sent it to over 100 people already. You and your family are in my prayers. I wish you the best...who knows we may meet some day.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video and helping to educate others. Our story is so similar. Our biggest struggles with our nine year old son has also been his silence, and horrible sleep. I cried when I read the quotes. It's so difficult that after 9 years I still don't always know what's wrong when my son cries, or screams out uncontrollably at night. He does finally have some very limited communication now which has been wonderful. He is a beautiful, loving child, who has also been on long waiting lists. Insurance has covered nothing but medical appointments, and we live in a community with more families then services available. We have done a good job, I think, on our own with him, and we have a supportive family and a great deal of love and patience in our home. I do worry about what will happen when I'm (his Mom) gone and not here any longer to take care of him. This sometimes overwhelms me, and I've been working on my faith to help me cope with this. I do pray there are services and special people in the future to help him, and others in need. I send my thoughts and prayers to you, and to all the families who have autism in their lives (there are so many of us now)...we live such special and gifted lives with this disorder, but also with so many struggles and challenges. But I am so thankful I didn't/don't have to deal with the challenges Moms had to deal with years ago. It's unimaginable to me how parents were treated not very long ago, and how they were blamed. There are such brilliant people out there in the autism field, and such amazing research happening, and I feel so hopeful!

Jesus loves the little children; and we should love as He does. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your beautiful daughter.

Our beautiful grandson Adam was diagnosed w/ Autism Specrum Disorder a year ago.Being a retired Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, I had some feeling that all is not right with him, I kept it to myself for a few days, then I hinted something to my son, who is a doctor, about my suspitions, and to my daughter-in -law, we all had the same feeling and decided the best thing is to get him in the program for early intervention and therapy. Now, we notice a huge difference in his communication skills and looking at him, you'll never pick up anything unusual. He has always been friendly, fun loving and touchy feely sweet boy,he is more so now. He talks a lot now ,enjoys going to school and be with his friends and is specially loving to his baby sister , we love him so much and so blessed to have him in our lives.

We also have a seven yr. little boy, diagnosed at age two. As a parent, you will never feel like you are doing enough therapy and intervention for your child. We have been through our savings, retirement, and luxury items. We have had our house on the market for six months, this very hard on our other two "neurotypical" kids, who live in their brother's shadow. Autism is all emcompassing, affecting your income, future, and sanity. The therapies are mostly NOT covered, even though we pay for good insurance. Our child met his minimum speech sessions( he is non-verbal) early on, we pay out of pocket for nearly everything, and have been denied KBW twice. Our pblic school, even though considered"excellent" don't come close to knowing a thing about Autism. Most of the paraprofessionals do mot have any degrees and are there for the paycheck and benefits. Our state just passed a law that each family is eligible for 8,000 for education when needs are not met. The private schools are full.

My two children were diagnosed on the spectrum. Anyone with children on the spectrum needs to check out the DAN protocol for biomedical treatment at the Autism Research Institutes' Website. My wife and I are glad we did.

JUST LIKE THE SONG SAYS.."START NOW." PARENTS ARE ALWAYS THE FIRST TO KNOW THAT THERE IS'SOMETHING DIFFERENT.' MY SON WAS DX @ AGE 3 BUT I KNEW AT ABOUT 2 THAT HE NEEDED TESTING. HE IS NOW 8 AND IS YUMMY, HAPPY AND YES HAS ALOT OF AUTISTIC, ASPIE MOMENTS!! THAT IS WHY I HAVE ALWAYS FOUGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT FOR HIM. HE HAS COME FROM BEING 3 WITH ONLY 10 WORDS AND ECHOLALIC IN SPEC ED SCHOOLS TO FULLY INCLUDED FOR TWO YEARS IN A REG 2ND GRADE CLASS WITH THE WHOLE SPEC ED TEAM WORKING WITH HIM AS WELL AS OUR IN HOME BEHAVIORIST. I AM INVOLVED WITH MANY AUTISM ORGANIZATIONS, BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THE LOCAL SCHOOL SYSTEM. GO TO DISTRICTS MEETINGS AND SEE IF THEY HAVE A SPECIAL ED ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND FIGHT LIKE HELL TO GET WHAT YOU NEED! MORE THAN EVER MAKE THOSE AWARE AROUND YOU THAT AUTISM IS WHAT YOUR CHILD HAS. MOST WILL BE IN DENIAL UNTIL THEY SPEND A DAY WITH YOU! MAKE THEM AWARE!!! MY SON, WHO IS JUST NOW ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIS BRAIN AND IF HE IS RETARDED,WILL BE TOLD SOMEDAY WITH OUR ABA. HE KNOWS THE OUTLINE.
I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS.. ZACH WALKED OVER WHILE I WAS PLAYING THIS VIDEO AND SAID, "UMM, I KNOW THOSE KIDS. THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME EYES. THEY HAVE THE EYES I DO. THEY ARE TALKING." MAY THAT GIVE YOU HOPE..

Thank you for sharing this video and I certainly support and advocate all CLINICAL (non-biomedical i.e. not causing the suffering and/or death of any other-than-human animals) research into this mysterious challenge. Having a dear friend who is autistic (and also one of the most intelligent, compassionate and expressive people I know), my heartfelt wish is for him, and everyone else diagnosed with Autism, to be able to live normal lives and be appreciated for their talents and abilities.
