How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com has no paid staff or personnel.

I myself do not have an Autistic child however I do know a few people that do. Here at work we do at least 4 events throughout the year in which I do support to help autistic children as well as there parents. I'm a motorcycle rider and I also do the yearly run for Cure Autism now in the Chicago land area. Sincerely, Diane

I am a TSS, or therapeutic staff support in the state of Pennsylvania. We are one of the states where insurance companies will pay for early intervention as well as intensive therapy. The organization I work for is completely funded by an insurance company. I work with children on a daily basis who have been diagnosed with Autism. I have 3 clients that are all very young, 2, 3, and 5 years old. Each child is so differnt in their ability levels and the variety of their behaviors. I see progress in each child on a daily basis. There is hope out there every child diagnosed with this devastating condition. If I can offer any advice or suport to anyone please feel free to contact me via e-mail.

My daughter has Rett Syndrome which is a autism spectrum disorder. She to can not communicate with us and it is sad to know that there is a bright, beautiful child inside screaming to be heard. This video hit home and the tears flowed. I hope that someday these children will have a cure so they can be heard at last!

This video made me cry. I have an autistic daughter. She also was not diagnosed until age of 3. We were able to get her intensive intervention. She is now what they term functioning autistic, our insurance would not pay for this eithor. We found organizations to help us. She is now 9. I just want to tell Claudia's family to hang in there. There is hope. They are welcome to contact me and I would love to help them with somethings that helped us. My prayers are with them, it is not an easy road but it is a road well worth traveling. God Bless you.

Imagine!!!, that the U.S gov. take 100 Minuteman missiles and cash them in, take that money and invest it in therapy for children with autism. I do not have the numbers available, but Iam almost sure that every child with this desease in the United State will have proper therapy care for the rest of his/her life, but sadly to say all we can do is Imagine!!! Autism affects all of us in different ways. Your video was beautiful. Your daughter is beautiful. Best of luck to you and your family.

Gorgeous child! Don't despair! People with autism are just wired differently. I have worked with people with autism for 10+ years. Use visual language- photos, objects are so powerful. She will respond. Love is going to get you through. Just try and think laterally and appreciate her different view of the world. You don't need to have 'the experts'- trust your instincts, follow her lead. Be strong!

I have a grandson with autism, diagnosed after he was two. And the parents are now divorced. It's difficult when there's a parent that doesn't want to treat the child with enough discipline and attention that he needs. I ache for all parents who fight the battle every day. I pray for all of you.

I agree with universal coverage. the problem is how to pay for it. We must pray(and pay) for our children, they are our future.

My son has autism. He is 7 and was diagnosed at 2 yrs old. Early Intervention is key. Children should NOT be made to wait...thank you for this beautiful video that brought tears to my eyes. Autism Awareness is NOT just the month of April....it is EVERY DAY! GOD BLESS.

I used to give therapy to Autistic children. It is a blessing to be able to help and understand them. Not everyone has the time to help. I would like to open my own center someday. But to the parents that live which these special children don't give up, NEVER!!! There is hope they will not be as perfect as we want them but we will help them overcome any challenges. The best thing that we could do with them is love them they are special in a very important way some of them don't have the ability to tell us what they want but we as the ones that love them always find a way. With all the love in the world and joy help them and every time you get fustrated just think how there could be someone the might not have you to help them.

One of my best friends, Evy, has a son that has been recently diagnosed with autism. Please add my e-mail address to your distribution list and let me know how I am become a volunteer to help and raise awareness in honor or her son, Carmeli and the Mardo family. God bless you for reaching out to Five for Fighting and for putting together a beautiful montage of photos of your adorable daughter---best of luck! Rosalina
