How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

Being the single parent of an almost 13 year old autistic son I wish you the best. It's a long but beautiful road as these are very special people. Thanks for sharing your beautiful daughter with us.

What are the symptoms?

My Brother George is 34 and Autistic. I wish there was something that could have been done for him then, but it's not too late for these children! They need our help and deserve the best chance they possibly can have at life; something we were freely given and take for granted.

I have a client that her son is Autistic, she spent over 60,000.00 between 2006 & 2007 for therapy. When i first met them her child would not even look at you and was very disoriented at all times. This year when i went to there house to do there taxes he greeted me with a hello Mercy how are you.......I was in total shock as to the changes in one year he made with therapy. Needles to say the have 3 mortgages on there home and have exhausted all of there resources. The only thing that keeps them going is that fact that they both have good paying jobs, but imagine if they didn't! We can only hope that there is something that can be done so that parents that have Autistic Children get all the help they can and that there children get the help that they need with out the wait. Many blessing to you and your family. Mercy

Let's not forget that there are a range of disorders within the autism spectrum, some of which have very mild symptoms and others have highly debilitating symptoms. In virtually all cases, autistic people (adults and children) and their families need support services of some type. And as a society, we NEED to understand why the prevalence of these conditions is increasing and how to stop it.

Everywhere I go I meet more and more people affected by this. It's not just us anymore and there are more and more all the time. I really think there are still many undiagnosed. I want it to stop and I want a cure. Thanks for what you to do to get us on that road to recovery.

I agree with Buck. It seems that all these people haven't taken into consideration what WE WANT. They see autism as a disease and want to find a cure for it. It kind of reminds me of everyone whos against gay marriage. They don't think other people should be able to have them just like they don't think we should be allowed to be autistic.

I understand you Bobby I have Landau-Kleffner syndrome and I'm fine I guess its normal for these guys to be all worried and stressing about Autism though, people always fear what they don't understand

I'm actually HAPPY i have autism. You guys can't call it a "disease" until you know what's really going on. If I didn't have autism I wouldn't be nearly as inteligent as I am now. The truth is we don't need your pity

Jeez. this video is greatly exaggerated and many of the viewers don't seem to understand what's going on. I'm 15 and I have asperger's syndrome, which is a form of Autism, and it's really NO BIG DEAL. I do have trouble reading peoples emotions and relating, but its not the end of the world. Most Autistic people have are smarter, have better memories, are better at logical thinking, are better artists or have some other skill to compensate. There are autistic people who remember everything they've ever read, and are geniuses. People are worried when autistic people are silent. Maybe we just don't feel like talking?

As the Mom of a 10 year old boy with Autism, I can relate to all the struggles and the "wait & see" attitude of the "typical" education system and people who just don't get it. Hopefully, this world will catch up to our kids! They are brilliant, funny, interesting, talented, and a blessing all wrapped up in one complex package. Awesome video! Perfect!

My step-cousin is autistic and his dad sent me this video. I love him so much, and I will do anything in my power to donate.

Thank-you so much for bringing such an important issue to the forefront.

Thank you for the amzaing video. We are going through the same ordeal with our son, Connor, who is turning 3 in May. I made my own slideshow -- although not as well done as yours -- which I have circulated to local media and my legislators. In fact, I just received a call from one of my U.S. Senators to discuss the issues I raised. While I'm not optimistic that one parent can make a difference, I'll keep you posted. You can learn more about my son on You Tube -- search for "Connor Kremser" or "Autism Angel." Good luck and God Bless.

Well, as much as I enjoy living with my autism, I DO advocate early diagnosis. I'll send this to an autism group to help raise money, but not everyone will agree with finding a cure :3

Thank you for raising awareness, my 4 year old son has Fragile X and Autism. With Early Intervention and Special Education programs at school he has progressed so much in the last two years, the programs in my area are based on income and so far we have not had to pay anyting. This is how it should be throughout the US and I hope that it will be soon!
