How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

what a beautiful video. Love is the best thing we can give our children..regardless of whether or not they are autistic. My son has schizophrenia and love goes a long way with him

My tears are flowing with heartfelt understanding. I grew up with this very unusual and misunderstood disorder in my family, but never knew it was a problem until we were in the company of other families without austism. As a parent of an 8-year-old son with autistm, I feel uniquely blessed to be able to guide him through many of the hurdles which we dealt with growing up. I wish more people would be as compassionate as the parents, siblings and relatives of individuals with Autism. It would be a better world if more people tried to make effort.

I work as an Educational Assistant supporting a child with Autism. I have used this video as part of our Together for Autism day. Everyone was moved by the video. Awareness is key! The students had a lot of questions and after the presentation I could really sense their acceptance and understanding. The student I work with has now become one of the most popular students at our school!

I am a school administrator at a school for children with autism. I have been sent a couple of emails re: your video, and I never could view your video. Every time I try, it's an endless loop which never plays the video. Please help me to view this video "What Kind of World..". It would mean a great deal to me. Thank you. Ms. Gabe Monarch School

My daughter was diagnosed with a mild form of autism called PDD. As parents we knew something was wrong at an early stage but we were always told, don't worry she will catch up. It has been one of the most difficult situations my wife or I have ever dealt with but we both feel very blessed. My daughter is the most loving, thoughtful, caring girl. Dealing with this issue had taught me paitence, love, and compassion in a greater way than I could ever imagine. God works in stange. It just took me sometime to figure that out. God bless everyone and especially the families dealing with autism. My heart is with each and everyone of you.

I heard there may be a link between autism and vaccinations. Something to look into.

I am the mother of a 9 year old boy with autism who is also non-verbal. I have to say, that is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Moved me to tears. Thank you

I teach kindergarten and am amazed at the number of children who show signs of autism. Two of my students have been diagnosed, but as I observe a variety of behaviors, I believe many more of my children who are thought to be "shy" really have a form of autism. Please tell the world what we can do to educate people to help find a way to reduce these numbers of children who have their feelings and voices locked away inside themselves.

My son is 7 and has Autism Spectrum Disorder. These videos bring tears to my eyes. My son does speak but his social skills are the lacking part. No one understands what a parent of a autistic child goes through until they have a child of there own. Thank you 5 for fighting.

What a beautiful video, it brought tears to my eyes and hit close to home. I have an 11 year old son with autism. I would love for autism to be a thing of the past.

Our 18 month old grandson was diagnosed non-verbal/autistic. Because of Early Intervention, he is now saying a handful of one-syllable words! AUTISM SPEAKS has been such a wonderful source of information for us, and participating in Walk Now for Autism, as well as support from the Autistic Society of America has been very helpful. Fear of the unknown was replaced with knowledge, experience, and support. There is a long road ahead, but we know we don't walk it alone...there is strength in numbers, and in research. PLEASE SUPPORT AUTISM SPEAKS in your area: www.walknowforautism.org If you don't have a Walk for 2008 in your area, start one up, like our daughter did! Her video is on the first page, "Our Boys, Our Purpose".

Can not stop crying! The pictures are as if they are on our walls. Lucas my 3 1/2 yr. old son was born with his twin brother nicholas, fortunately Lucas has autism. He is the light of our lives. Please pass this along so we can help all the children like Lucas blossom, it takes a lot of hard work, but it pays off. Thanks
