How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

This video had me in tears. My son has Asperger's and this video touched me so much. I wish that there were better services in place for thse children, including mine.

My name is Elizabeth and i have a 3 year old son with Autism. I knew when he was 1 year old that he had autism, call it intuition. After researching about Autism and discovering the non-verbal skills he may have, we began to sign and speak to him the word we were signing. Knowing that with these beautiful children it is all about repetition we continually told our little man that we loved him. Even if he did not respond we continued to say it and sign it. He does have speech delay but well over 200 signs including counting to 20 and signing the alphabet. But his favorite words and sign is "I love you Mom"! Please never give up on them and their disabilities, rather love and cherish their abilities!

For those of you out there wondering what happens when your child gets older... My son is now 9 and the older he gets the more he is able to manage his repetitive behaviors, requires less assistance at school, and starting to try to make and maintain friendships (as he knows them!) He tends to try and interact, can only take so much and then resorts to individual play or submersion. It has gotten better with age!!! Of course as a mother I worry about the future and what it will bring.

I just wanted to share my news with whoever would read this and whoever made this video....Your comment about a world where a parent can hear their Autistic Child say I love you!!! Today, I live in that world!!!! When I dropped my six-year old off at school today (was non-verbal until two months ago he started to speak some single words), he said and signed "Love you." My video is on here too..."Fighting For Three"

My friend, Suzanne, has a son almost 15 who is a non-verbal autistic young man. She loves him deeply, as does her whole family, but it would be so wonderful to know what he is thinking, feeling, experiencing, without everyone guessing and hoping they know the answers to his questions.
