How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

Thank you for letting us meet your Chris. I enjoyed the video. Remember, you're not alone and there are people who are fighting right along there with you. You just may not have met them all yet. :)

Thank you for sharing you boy with us. My son as asperger's also and I struggle daily to teach him to live in his skin. He has a hard time making friends as well. When he was at public school I would go in the first week of school and talk to his class about him so they would be kind and be his friend. He was the one who had the hard time. Everyone loved him but he just knew he didn't have any friends. It is always their view of reality. It is an uphill battle but we will get there! Thanks again Rose

I also worry about my 10 1/2 year old son (5th grade) and his having friends. Imagine how delighted I was when at a meeting with his teachers they informed us of these four boys that actually come to his classroom every day to check on him. He also eats his lunch with them everyday. It made my heart melt to know that there were actually some "good boys" out there that see my son for the wonderful person he is. He may not always be able to express everything that's going on in his brain, but he always conveys what a sweet, loving boy he is all the time. Hopefully, one day soon, your son will also have a couple of good friends. I look forward to hearing your joy when he does.

Bonnie, I don't have your email address. Chris has a hard time making friends because he is not socially where the other kids are his age. Kids don't understand him and the way he behaves and plays, and so he doesn't have a lot of friends. He has a few younger kids he plays with, but only a couple his age. Maybe normal wasn't the word I should have used. Maybe typical is the word I should have used. He looks like all the other kids, but he doesn't behave like all the other kids his age. He is socially behind.

Thank you for sharing your life thru this video! I too wish for a world where my son Nathan, who's 11 and has Aspergers and ADHD, could be accepted, understood and have real friends and people wouldn't be afraid of him! God bless and know you are not alone!

I know what your saying about "NORMAL" but is anyone in this world today normal? You are giving him everything he needs and that is more than normal.Keep up the great work!!

Thank you for watching "Our Boys, Our Purpose". I'm glad you let me know the title of your video, so that I could view it. Chris may not be typical, but he is exceptional. You know what I mean. Our two grandsons with autism have their struggles, but they have feelings, want to be included in ways that are comfortable to them, and as they get older I am certain they'll want to be included in peer groups. The more awareness we spread, the more we rally for better services, for more government funding, better insurance coverage, and more community tolerance, your son & my grandsons will have a better place to live. . . May God bless these precious children, who will one day be adults.

Hey, Christy from the moment we met I felt like you were the sister I never had. God knew what he was doing when he brought us together, Your family continues to be a blessing in my families life, Only a mother could capture Chris and the daily struggle a family goes through when living with autism, beautifully done...
Love Always

Raven- You are a nut.
Certainly, chemicals are not good and cause lots of problems. No one KNOWS at this point what the causes of autism are. I have worked with children with autism for 6 years. They are blessings from God. My heart goes out to Chris and all the families dealing with this issue.

I will continue to pray for you and all who have Autism. The Lord is with all of you and I pray that this is the year He sends a cure.

I AM SO PROUD TO CALL CHRIS MY SON, AND ALTHOUGH SOME MAY DISAGREE, I,VE ONLY BEGUN TO UNDERSTAND THE BOY THAT HE IS, AND THE MAN HE WILL BECOME.I AM AND WILL BE A FIRM SUPPORTER OF AUTISIM, AND THE PROGRAMS THAT ARE OFFERD FOR MY SON AND MANY OTHER CHILDREN. I FEEL WE SHOULD OFFER MORE IDEAS, AND MORE EDUCATION FOR PARENTS LIKE MYSELF, WHO STILL WANT TO UNDERSTAND, IN THE HOPE THAT MORE CHILDREN CAN LIVE A HEALTHIER AND NORMAL LIFE.

My son looks "normal" too, he is 17 and has just been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome which is a form of Autism. My girlfriend just sent me this site and I think it is great for raising awareness and raising much needed money for research. Good luck and blessings to you and your son.

God bless you all...my 10 year old grandson is
exactly the same, and I worry what the future will
bring for all of them...this is a terrible injustice to our future generations...we must find
the cause and the cure! Pray for the families,
and the children.....and give for a cure!

Loved seeing all the different fun activities you do with Chris. Horseback riding is a wonderful sport for all children, but please have him wear a riding helmet.

Hey thanks for letting me know about your vidio. Awsome!!!!! I am Michelle "Standing together with autism." I actually have 2 boys that fall under the spectrum one more severe than the other, and because I'm an outdoors and animal nut, so are they. The difference is, we do twice as much in a shorter amount of time and take lots of breaks. Every moment counts! I LOVE your video, POSITIVE, love it! Thanks for sharing, Michelle
