How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

What a touching video and, yes, tears are streaming down my face too. How lucky Mia is to have you as her parents. I've been having a pity party over my daughters's mild auditory processing issues - your journey has helped me gain some much needed perspective. Blessings to you all.

Your video made me cry. Mia is so beautiful and bright eyed. Thank you for some insight into the world of having a child with autism. It really opened my eyes. I have 7 year old niece with is most likely an autism spectrum disorder. Love, Heidi

You have a beautiful family. Thank you for the powerful message. Our 2 boys have autism. They are now 18 and 17 years old. Adam the oldest has severe autism. Alec has mild autism. It is scary to see more and more children with autism. It is still hard to deal with it (autism) but, at least people are better educated now than when my kids were 3 years old (the "stares" because of their behavior). Thanks for making more people aware.

Regardless of what brain and body we're givin, we're all perfect spiritual beings. Tara and Jason, thank you so much for sharing your story. Mia is a very bright light. This beautiful little person is so loved.

While our children are not broken, they may not be as healthy as they could be. Biomedical treatment does help so many of our children. It has helped my daughter and seven other children that I know. There are so many children who do speak after beginning biomedical treatment. While it may not be the right answer for every child you should be open enough to consider it and learn about it as an option for your child. Tara Thank you for your thought provoking video. I struggle daily with the "fix it" desire. My son Micah is 5 and has Autism. I struggle between knowing the Lord has created him beautifully just the way he is and wanting to give him every advantage that he can have. It is a balancing act. Please know that you are not alone. I loved your song choice. Thank you for taking the time to share your story, not just with those who don't understand Autism, but for those of us who understand it all too well. God Bless, Tara

Great Video and I loved the backround music, but Mia doesn't need fixed. She has parents who truely love and support her and everyday that love and support will be what fixes her. My prayers are with you and all parents who have autistic children.

Beautiful video and such a surpise to see this lovely little girl with so much connection to her surroundings and her family. Thank you both for sharing and giving feedback to those that aren't in the "know" about autism.

Your are so right that she is not broken...she is a beautiful, vibrant young lady, who is clearly loved dearly and clearly loves you. She is lucky to have you! Keep your faith and hope. She is learning by all of the wonderful experiences you give her....and she will tell you she loves you someday!
