How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

Amy, What a great video! You did a wonderful job putting this video together. It was very touching. Your boys are so blessed to have such a loving, caring mother. I have several friends with sons diagnosed Autistic. You're a great person. I pray that more funding is available for research and a cure. Let me know if I can ever help you out. Nancy in MD.

Thank you for sharing your story and your lives thru this video. Everything you said was so true and hit home so much. I am a single parent of 2 sons..Nathan has Aspergers and ADHD and Tristan has ADHD, so every day has it's challenges and rewards as you know. I too, as so many others have said here, worry about dying because I don't know what would happen to my boys. I do the best I can, but alot of times it doesn't ever feel like enough for what they need. And the part you said about people judging and staring, it bothers me alot too, they have no clue what it's like and they don't take the time to find out. Anyway, god bless you guys!!

Amy, what a great video. I am the mother of two boys as well, though mine have no autistic diagnosis. Please know that when other people say to you, "I don't know how you do it," it is truly meant as the greatest compliment to you and your boys, as others understand the additional and special challenges you face and you obviously are taking them all head-on and conquering each one as you can as shown by your dedication to your boys by finding time to put the video together. Kudos to you! I wish you and your family the best and continue to keep my fingers crossed that autism will be conquered sooner than later.

I am in tears -- your comment "where I am not afraid to die" hit home so hard. My almost 18-year-old son has Asperger's and ADD and I know if anything every happened to me, his father would never be able to deal with him. It's sad when the family members don't understand their own kids . . . thanks for making this video, Amy! Love to you and your wonderful boys! Teri in MO.

Thank you Amy for the video..My great-nephew has aspergers and he is a beautiful blonde, big blue-eyed 3 yr old sweetheart..God only gives Children with Special Needs to Special people and these Children are Special. I have the positive attitude that given their challenge, all have a gift to give to their family and others. We learn also to be humble and the love these children show us is phenomenal. You can tell your boys are loved so much and you have a beautiful smile while sharing with us a small piece of your life..We pray that funding comes thru in the US and Canada follows..We are Canadians. Autism crosses many borders. Even old great Aunties (I'm 58 yrs old with 5 grandchildren) pray for longevity to be able to help their nephew in a busy frantic world where the attitude is 'glad it isn't me' instead of reaching out and 'helping' these children and their parents...Thank you...linda in Vancouver BC Canada

Touching video Amy! I love working with your son and what you do for your boys! They will both benefit from your persistance and dedication to their needs! Although at times it can be hard, keep up your positive attitude. Miss Heather

When I first found out that my son had aspergers my biggest fear was dying as well. I know that my son's world will be wonderful while I live and breath... but then what? I was so touched by your movie. We are going on Tuesday to see if our older son is affected too. People always asked how I "do it?" and it makes me sad. I do it because I love them and THAT IS WHAT YOU DO. To me Joshua is Joshua - NO Lable And Alex will be Alex no matter what Tuesday brings:) My prayers are with you and others like us.

They are so cute. You know you and the boys are always in my prayers. It's a shame that families have to fight so hard for funding. Especially when there are proven therapies out there that can help families. You know I know, having worked with families and their children for 6 years. Love you all! Amy ROCKS! You too Robbie!

Well done Amy, I couldnt do it better myself. I have a brother with autism and know the struggles you and your family deal with on a daily basis that other take for granted. I pray for the funding and the cure for this disability and hope for a society that will leanr to understand and, as you said, not judge those with autism. God bless your family :o)

Amy. Thanks for giving me a view into the challenge, daily life, and love you have for your boys - and the many other parents who are raising children with autism. You opened a window for me. Evie in Frederick

When I saw "...i don't have to worry about dying..." in the video, I started crying. I don't cry like that often. It's reassuring to know that other parents with autistic kids go through the same stuff. Thank you for your beautiful video.

Thank you for your beautiful video - I hope that MANY people who do not understand autism see the love and light that is within these kids and families and understand that they need not be afraid. I think it's so said when educated people think that these children are just acting out. Keep showing the truth. Your strength and love for your child are all that matter. Tina in WI
