How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

I am a daughter of a sailor, a sister of a sailor, a wife of a National Guardsman and an aunt of National Guardsman who just returned home. I am a neighbor of many deployed and a teacher to 12 who's dads returned home safely this year ( and I live over an hour from the nearest base) - and of 6 who I know are going back next January. May God watch over them and return them back to us safely again. Thank you Becky for sharing their stories.

Amazing! No matter what your view on the war is, i think we can all agree that no child should lose their parent to war. May all those fighting around the world make it safely home. Thank you for everything you do.

Becky, thanks for putting this video together. I hope it reminds everyone that no matter how you feel about the war, we need to support the troops and their families because they do it for all of us. Their families need to know they aren't suffering alone and in vain. Thank you to all the troops for keeping America Free.

Becky, That was the MOST incredible and powerful video I have ever watched! I sob sitting here for all those children. Being a parent myself I can ONLY imagine what those children are put through when mom or dad or both are away to fight for our freedoms. God bless the troops and their families. I pray we can bring them all home soon.

What a touching and moving tribute and reminder! I sat sobbing for a full 10 minutes before I could even type this. My heart aches for you and all the other children left behind. God Bless.

Thank you Becky for this lovely tribute. I pray every day that our military will come home soon. I thank each soldier every day for what they are doing in Iraq to protect our FREEDOM here in the United States. It's ashamed families are separated and so many sacarifices are made during war. I like what another viewer wrote, "Send this to all of our "elected" officials who want to continue the war!" I pray that peace comes soon and I'll pray that your Daddy and all his fellow soldiers are returned home soon, safe and sound. May God Bless them and you, too.
