How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com has no paid staff or personnel.

Beautiful video!!! I cried all 3 three times that I watched it. You see Ethan looks like my son Steven who is now 10 and has PDD (mild autism) & ADHD. I also have a 5 year old with ADHD and a 2 year old with autism. I have hope for you. We were thinking of getting a personal aide 5 years ago for Kindergarten but things changed when we met a fabulous doctor in Pgh, PA Dr. Scott Faber. Steven takes supplements, vitamins, follows special diets, gets therapy and takes detoxifying clay baths. He is now in a regular classroom getting A's and B's and will be living a pretty normal life. I didn't think that was possible 5 years ago. Keep educating others, reading, researching, hoping and praying. GOOD LUCK!!! I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH YOUR VIDEO THAT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE YOUR PERMISSION TO USE IT A SEMINAR FOR TEACHERS. I AM A TEACHER MYSELF IN PGH, PA. PLEASE EMAIL ME.

My heart goes out to you and all parents who struggle with Autism. Life is hard enough even for kids without such problems. Just keep pouring out your love and do the best you can to give them experiences they can master, and let their idiosyncracies be part of this great colorful quilt called life. You do the best you can, and leave the rest to God. Blessings Always.

Are we all getting the wait and see, children develop at their own pace talk? My Grandson was not diagnosed untill he was 3 1/2 and only then because we requested his Dr send him for testing. After we recieved the news his Dr ask us to educate him on what we had learned! This was a Pediatrician who was the best in our area. We all need to be better educated about Autism. We need to find out whats going on with our children. I also want to say my grandbaby brings me more joy than anything elce ever has in my life. He is my world and I love him with all my heart!

Your son sounds a lot like mine. My son is in mainstream school system, but struggles every day socially. Curious what Insurance company you have? The more complaints pushed their way might help as well? God Bless and let's find a cure. Pam

PLEASE, please, please....go to this link and try it on your son. This has shown to help kids with Autism. www.discoverlimu.com/followyourdream People need to start being more proactive and stop being ignorant about these issues! Please...you owe it to your son to try this out!! I can get phone numbers of people that this has helped. We can't let this continue to escalate.

It is beyond me why the government can not see that the more time they spend talking about and debating the vital needs of those effected with ASD the more children will be "lost" in their own world. The sooner they act verses debate the better it will be for the children, families and those of us waiting to help those children. My prayers go to all the families and children who are dealing with ASD.

Bless you all. Thank you so much for sharing your story. As a parent of a child who has Autism, I am moved beyond mere words. We all must advocate for our children because our children will one day lead the world. May God bless each person who responds with a loving heart and donates much needed financial support to fund research. Together, we can make a difference. May God bless you Ethan and your loving family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for sharing. Our son, Joshua "JoJo" was also diagnosed on the spectrum at just over 3 years old. We were fortunate to get him into speech therapy and special-ed preschool by the time he was 3-1/2 and even more fortunate in that our insurance partly covers the cost of his ABA therapy. Let's keep fighting until there are truly no children left behind!

thank you for sharing your story! my justin is 9 and we were told to wait and see too--if i could turn back time. keep fighting and being strong--you are his voice---we fought our insurance company tooth and nail to get things covered--we fought the schools to pay for him to attend a private school--and found agencies to help assist with his therapies in the home. let's hope to find a cure soon and read about this in the books one day....come meet our "justin"--lauren

I love the videos clips. I also have a 4 year old that just got his future shot down with autism in June of '07. He is also on the waiting list. Let's get the law pasted to get things moving. Kathy
