How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

I watched this video because I saw your clip on channel 10 in Henderson. It is very touching. I used to be a special needs para and I worked one on one with an autistic child. I am glad someone advertised this video so I could sort of hear your story.

Holly, Thank you for sharing a bit of Kyle with us. I have two precious grandsons living with autism (see video #264868, on the first page, "Our Boys, Our Purpose") & without much sleep. Parenting children with autism isn't typical, as you mentioned, because of all the therapies, doctor visits, etc. My beautiful daughter hasn't had a full night's sleep since her 2nd son was born over 2 1/2 years ago. Sleep deprivation is such a challenge for anyone, but especially for parents of children with special needs. I'm glad you're involved with Autism Speaks. They are expediting the researching going for autism, and we are grateful for the great resource they are! Hang it there, Holly.

To kyle's family, My neice sent me this I have a 15 year old non verbal angelic faced son named Zac. This song is very moving and touching. Zac is a lovable boy who enjoys the water and we all pray together for a cure that one day our children can say I love you back to us. Because I truly feel that they now how much we go through they go through it to. Great and moving website thank you! Jeannine

I could see Kyle say "I LOVE YOU" in every photo; you've given all of us a better appreciation for our children.

Not sure if you will remember me, but I was the OT who worked with Kyle the last couple of years in school. I got this from someone who does not know him at all, thus once I opened I cried through it. Kyle is an amazing child, who in the short time I knew him made great strides...this can only be done with a great family to support him. I often tell of you, Holly and bringing Kyle's picture to IEPs to remind my IEP teams that this isn't just a meeting, but a child's life. My hopes and prayers are with Kyle and your entire family. I am the father of a 5 year old year son with ASD. The song you choose was the best. I listened to it in my office and broke down crying. I have been looking for the right song for 3 years. Thanks for sharing this video and song with us all. I will be praying for your family.

Beautiful video! We sometimes forget what your family is going through and this was a touching way of letting us in. Klye looks beautiful in these pictures and you're doing an AWSOME job. We want you to know that we are thinking of you and praying for a cure.

Autism will stop when vaccinations are an option rather than forced upon our children. STOP MERCURY NOW!

My son, Kyle, is a 5 yr old w/ autism as well. I'm going to school to work with families and children just like our own. I cried a bucket full of tears watching your video, but it was so incredibly healing to know that we are not alien, and that we can touch others. You will hear "I love you, mom" and when that day comes, everything that you have fought for will all be worth it! I'm betting my entire future on it.

Never give up, because if we don't fight for our handicapped kids no one else will. I know from personal experience. Great Video.

As a parent of a 14 yr old with autism I was so disappointed when he was diagnosed. They told me my son was severely autistic and he would never read or write or speak or show affection. They were so wrong.Yes he is non verbal but that is it.He is the happiest person you could meet.He can surf the internet like a pro and he is always full of hugs and kisses....I am glad I didnt give up and take what they said to heart..Even though he dont speak on a normal basis if he wants something and i dont want to watch him sign i make him say it and he will so that gives me encouragement...It takes a special parent to raise a special child...You will be amazed as he grows.....Good luck and God Bless

Your video was beautiful. I watched it with my 12 yr old son who has high functioning autism. It brought back a lot of memories. We both cried.
