How This Works
For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

I'm curious, how is your son doing now? I was diagnosed with PDD NOS (at age 6) and things may have looked gloomy at first. My parents were told at my first assessment (age 2) that I would likely be mild to moderately retarded and may never make it to high school or even the 6th grade.
Thankfully my parents didn't let that keep them down. I grew up and went through a lot of change.
Not only did I graduate high school (mainstreamed) but I graduated top 10%.

Autism is not the end of the world as people may feel.
"Developmentally delayed" doesn't mean nothing will come at all. It just means it will come in its own time, regardless of whatever timeline is set for "average"

Your boys are beautiful, they have amazing blue eyes. The video is very touching and I am posting a link on my blog. I am blogging for Autism. My site started out about ODD but I have expanded to support more causes. If there is more I can do I hope you'll let me know.

Thank you so much for the beautiful video of your twin boys. My son is 6 and he has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS. His 5 year old brother is very close to him and they are like your twins. All the luck in the world to you and your family.

PEASE READ THIS!!! YOur son reminds me of my own and he is recovering!!!!
Your sons are absolutely adorable. I have twin boys, too. One son Zack is recovering from autism with the gluten and casein free diet and supplements. He had regressive autism that started after a flu shot. Then he got sick and was on antibiotics. He then disappeared into his own world.
The GFCF diet gave us eye contact back so we knew we were onto something. We had his stool and urine tested (www.greatplainslaboratory.com) and was found to have yeast overgrowth (from antibiotics) Symptoms Zack had were that he wouldn't answer to his name and would go into "fogs" toe-walking and spinning, holding his ears.
Zack was also found to have lead poisoning (possibly from recalled toys from China) and mercury poisoning possibly from flu shots. His GI system was a mess and we didn't even know it. This was affecting his absorbtion of minerals and vitamins and affecting his brain.
The symptoms of mercury poisoning and autism are identical. http://www.nationalautismassociation.org/thimerosal.php Scroll down to the chart.
Many, many, many parents are seeing results with biomedical treatment. It is more than just the diet, though. Some also have aluminum poisoning because that has replaced mercury in the shots. Go to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/GFCFKids/messages The yahoo group GFCFkids helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!! I can't even tell you how much those 12,000 people helped me. They are helping other parents do the GFCF diet correctly and treat yeast, bacteria, heavy metals, etc. Once I treated his yeast, he stopped going into "fogs" and was talking more and more. Read the book HEALING THE NEW CHILDHOOD EPIDEMICS AUTISM, ASTHMA, ALLERGIES, ADHD by Dr. Bock. It is so helpful.
Please look into it. It is helping SOOOOO many kids and has changed our lives completely. It is my passion to spread the word about this! There is a special place in my heart for these amazing children. I just want to help.

Thank-you for sharing your sons with us. They are beautiful kids! My son also has been diagnosed with ASD. We struggle more on some days then others with our son, but I love with all my heart. I wonder some days how us as parents and he as our son will get through this. Then the problems get pushed aside with our love and I think if he can do it so can I. I know I sometimes have to be couragious for both of us and sometimes his courage and strength is all I need to get me to the next day. It is always enough to know that he is my son and that my love for him is as strong as the sun is bright. Have fun, enjoy what you have, I with you all the best!

What a frightening struggle! But...there are wonderful moments too, laughter, smiles, playing with his brother. What a beautiful face and gorgeous big pools of an ocean these boys have in their eyes. The blue ocean...some waters that have been sailed, some that have yet to be discovered. Best of everything to all of you on your pursuit to give your son what he rightfully deserves. What loving family support!

How blessed you are to have your two beautiful little boys. Thanks for sharing this with us and know that we are not alone. There are many families out there going through all the things that we go through. We work together and maybe we can fight this and make a better world for our sons.

Thank you for sharing Cameron's story. What a blessing he has having a brother to help him. I'm sure his brother is learning a lot from Cameron, as well. There is so much to learn about ASD, and there is still so much to learn, to discover, to research. Please connect with the Autism Society of America (great support network!), and with Autism Speaks. They provide much needed support, information, & resources.

Cindy did a fantastic job with this video. When she approached me about using the song for this project, I couldn't have known how deeply I'd be touched by her story.
I wrote the song last year for my son (and for my wife too, if truth be known), when he graduated high school. Though it was certainly a struggle at times (and probably always will be), Dan's condition was certainly not at the most severe end of the autism spectrum. We take our blessings where we may.
Please let all your family, friends, and associates know about this video. And if you get a moment, visit my webpage at www.myspace.com/richowen61. And thanks again, Cindy, for your many hours of work in preparing this. I know it can't have been easy for you.

I just finished watching the video about Cameron and Andrew, the twins. One has autism and the other doesn't. I am a twin survivor and now, 51. I still miss my closest sibling ever. He died at 3 days old. I can't imagine having a twin who could not communicate with me. I will pray for your family and hope he gets the love and help Cameron and Andrew needs. I and my twin were born on November 11, 1956. Thank you for sharing your story.

With the complexity of autism I have learned so much from studing up on autism and there is a lot about it every one every where needs to know. I just resently wrote an article for my nephew who has autism. I have come to love and appreciate and to help out even more.
