How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com is the property of John Ondrasik and is administrated by John and the Five For Fighting management team at Jim Grant Management.

And I owe my gratitude to all who preserve our freedom, past and present. I love this my country, which protects our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness without fear of reprisal, giving freedom to participate in activities of our choosing. It is my distinct honour to stand tall and silent as a Patriot Guard Rider. May our Saviour keep all of you safe and sound ~~ Time will not dim the glory of their deeds ~~

I served 20+ years in the Army. The longer I've been away from it (the Army) the more significant that 20 years becomes. I was in the 1st go around in 1990, just prior Pannama, and then Hatti. I do don't compare what our young men and women are going through, just to let all know that what ever your country asks of you (regardless of politics) our men and women go without thought as to why! They just go! Its not until you get back, do you understand the why (like it or not). This is very moving and I will pass it on to all I know. Mahalo

I retired from the Army with 20 years (and currently serve as a Dept of Army Civilian) and my father and my brother were also in the Air Force. Both of my sons and one daughter-in-law are currently in the Army, with one son currently deployed to Afghanistan. My husband has over 30 years with the military and is currently still in the Army Reserves. We have a proud heritage in our family - totally over 16 personnel either currently serving or have served proudly in the military. God Bless the USA and may God protect our military and civilians that are doing their part to keep America FREE.

"Thank you" to this web sight for remembering our soldiers. The song was beautiful. It makes me cry but very proud also. My husband went into the Marine Corp at the age of 17. We were married 11 years before I found out that he was released because of injuries received in service. He would never talk about it, the horrors he saw and lived thru. It has been an uphill battle. It took us 7 years to get his disability benefits. He lost his job of 13 years in 2002 when he asked for a transfer because of his disabilities. He was told they had nothing for him. In 2004 he was ruled 100% disabled by the VA, but todate he has been turned down atleast 4 times by Social Security Disability, stating he could still do his old job. During his appeals, he said the first thing out of the appeal judge's mouth was "your only here for the money", and at the end of it, she refused his disability again. My husband came home and said it was like being spit on all over again. He has been out of work for 5-1/2 years now with another appeal coming up this month. And with my job being down sized last October, and unemployment benefits now gone I pray that this time he does get his Social Security Disability and I ask that you please pray for out troops, our veterens and their families for I am sure ours is not the only story.

God bless the troops and God bless the families of the troops. I have a lot of respect for those who fight for our country, it takes a lot of courage to do what they do. There are too many out there who don't believe that, they sit in thier plush offices and whine. If you don't respect the troops you don't deserve freedom. You don't have to agree with what the president does but my gosh at least be behind the people who give you your freedom. They put thier life on the line for less money than you can imagine, lets put it this way a lot of the soldiers qualify for welfare. God Bless you, there is a speacial place in heaven for you all. My husband served in the Marine Corp and he would go and fight for all of us if with no questions and no hessitation if they would let him. SEMPER FI That song and video were awesome.

Served as a Woman Marine, 1967-1970. My father is a retired Marine....had 3 brothers in the Marines and one in the Army/Air Corps. My older brother passed away in 2003..... lived with Hepatitis C he contracted from blood transfusions he recieved after losing his leg in Viet Nam. I am involved in a lot of Military organizations. My only sone has been in the Navy for 15 years. This sent chills up my arms and tears to my eyes. Will definitely share this with everyone. God Bless America and God Bless our troops.

The following just adds to the already fine statement made in the video...sorry, I cannot remember where I found it but please enjoy it: A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve – is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -- Author Unknown God Bless this Country and all who serve(d)

Thanks for this moving tribute to our soldiers. I wasn't totally surprised (just disturbed) by the comment about "weak-kneed liberals". I'd guess that would be your name for me, but how simple- minded your thinking. I am strongly against what brought us into this war, and that our soldiers must make unfathomable sacrifices. My opposition to this war does not diminish my humbly honoring their sacrifices. Opposing this was, does NOT equate to disrespect for out soldiers.

As a veteran, and the son of a veteran, I am always touched when someone in the entertainment community puts forth the effort to sincerely thank those of us who have served, and those who died, for freedom. I want to say thank you, simply thank you.
