A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Description: After watching some of these videos, we felt a strong connection to the parents with children with Autism. We wanted to share our story of our son Jack. He has been diagnosed with Autism and Sensory Integration Disorder. While his Autism is defined as High Functioning, we still face the challenges as all parents do. We have been blessed to have absolutely the most wonderful teachers since he has started school 3 years ago. We share a bond with every parent that experiences this diagnosis and hope that one day we will have answers to our questions.

How This Works

For all donations, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com will distribute approximately 90% of money donated to the selected charities. This is determined primarily by the amount of views per charity and available funds. The 10% expense includes Revver.com's .01/view webhosting cost, California Community Foundation's 1.25% administrative expense and site maintenance. Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.

For videos which have received 30,000 or more views, whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com may elect to add a click through advertisement at the end of such videos to defray web hosting expenses. As our objective is to donate the most funds possible to our charities, this will eliminate substantial expenses incurred by revver's .01 per view charge on videos with millions of views.

We have watched Jack grow from an infant who was shy and quiet grow into a young boy who has overcome, with the help of his loving parents, Matt & Lisa, his shyness and has become a much more social person in interacting with his siblings and extended family. We hope and see promise in his life as he continues to develope his inate skills unique to him as a person. Anyone who gets to know him will see the love that radiates from within him. GO JACK! LOVE GREAT AUNT JOANNE AND RON.

Seeing your Jack reminded me so much of our Steven, who also was diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder over 5 years ago. He too enjoys Brookfield Zoo and going to the beach. Our only true wish and hope for all special children like ours is that they find the cure for Autism- and very soon. God bless. Sincerely, Robert Blickhahn

This is a beautiful representation of Jack and his family. He seems like a very happy little boy with a very caring family. I wish your family all of the best and I'm glad you've been able to find good support through his teachers and each other. Oh, and Great choice of song by the way. Sincerely, Darren Goad
